Ten stars. Delicious food. I love the poach and hash. Crullers were fresh and warm. Waffles were delicious. Everything was freshly made, luxurious. A delight to my taste buds. Can’t wait to come back.

Food was incredibly good. I really enjoyed the French aspect of it and the crullers were incredible compared to any other I have had in the US. The coffee was bland which is consistent with what I have seen in other reviews. What knocks a star off was the understaffed servers and kitchen. The chef came out at one point and yelled at her server right in front of her table about how she is getting to many tickets. That is not the servers fault and she was clearly swamped as well. Hope that gets fixed soon.

We went for lunch and ordered a spread of things. French press coffee was freshly made and tasted great. Croque monsieur was heavenly delicious, paired nicely with the crispy frites. French toast was delicate and fluffy with a hint of pleasant citrus. Side sausage is not the typical breakfast style and tasted unique and delicious.
The diner-style decor was cozy and retro. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a great diner with a French twist. I’d recommend items that showcase the classic French cuisine. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

We visited this location after reading a positive review article about it in The Daily Collegean. The location is nice and has a nostalgic 50s diner vibe. We ordered several items from the menu including the egg omelet, French toast, eggs over easy and pancakes. All of the items tasted OK. What we couldn’t believe was as a breakfast restaurant they don’t serve toast. When we asked, we were told it’s a French restaurant and they only have croissants. So I ordered a side croissant which was small cold and barely dippable for one egg over easy. The jam that came with croissant was actually the highlight and tasty. My wife also asked for a decaf coffee which they don’t serve. Overall the breakfast was ok but unfortunately not anything I could rave about.

Went here for lunch and got the steak et oeufs and beef bourguignon which was recommend by the server, both very delicious, steak was cooked a perfect medium to my liking. 10/10!
Have been back since and got the poached and hash with a croissant and that has to be my new favorite breakfast/ lunch item in State College. I like the variety of a simple breakfast to a more substantial meal for lunch.

Great place to go if you’re looking for something a little different for brunch. The food is of excellent quality and flavour, the staff are incredibly courteous, and they really lean into the French atmosphere.

How is some of the best food in State College a French Diner of all things?! Take the quintessential 1950s diner experience (but cleaner), compete with non-stop oldies (but in French, my favorite part), increase the quality, and add classic French dishes for an American audience. I’ve gone three weeks in a row and will be back for more! Today was beef bourguignon (I like it on hash browns!), a chocolate shake (very custardy), and ALWAYS a side of bacon!

The menu is interesting and the food is fantastic at this downtown diner. It is so nice to have elevated brunch options for regular prices. The chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak and excellent. Not pictured: the amazing frites disco!
