Stopped in to have lunch and was a little let down. The food was not in keeping with the price, and the food was hit or miss. The hibachi made no sense and the sushi was sad. However the dumplings and sauce were perfect as was the sauce on the hibachi.

We decided to use this location because we have never tried it. First and last!! The broccoli was over grill making it black on one side and extremely hard. Our carrots were too huge. You had to cut them up to be able to eat them. The hibachi shrimp and chicken very salty with no other flavoring what so ever. No sesame seed, pepper, garlic, etc. It is if they stirfried it with nothing but lots of soy sauce. No other seasoning whatsoever can be seen or tasted on my rice, meats or vegetables. Normally, you can see different seasoning on your meat and sauce, but this has absolutely nothing~only salt. Very disappointing And I will NOT order here again.

One of our favorite places to grab something quick to eat. The highlander roll is a fried sushi roll. Definitely worth trying. The cashiers are always friendly and nice.

The local college town sushi joint. You can’t beat 3 roll combos for 9 bucks! Sushi is well constructed & tasty but nothing fancy. You’ll find all the rolls you’d expect, but nothing out of the box. They also do hibachi combos for $5-10, with plenty of entrée options: veggie, chicken, steak, salmon, scallops, tuna, and shrimp.

Called ahead on my lunch break and when I got there it wasn’t ready so I paid and waited for 20 minutes for sushi. The man at the counter that I paid with was the same one who took my order on the phone. I watch the kitchen bring out a Togo order that looked like sushi and the man read the ticket and set it down and go back to talking to a co worker. I waited and waited and finally 10 minutes later he re-read it and said “oh I’m sorry this is yours “ I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WAITING

The service worker at the front was very rude and at no point expressed any courtesy or etiquette. ALL of the soft drinks served at the restaurant were uncarbonated; with the restaurant effectively serving just a mixture of water and fountain syrup. The majority of the tables appeared to be unclean(note that by using the word “unclean” to describe the restaurant I mean that it appeared that there had been no employees to have been inconvenienced or convicted to clean), with visible crumbs, sauces, drink-spillage, and other substances decorating some of them. The only somewhat redeeming quality of the restaurant was the food, which was, at best, decent, but does not compensate for the rest of the experience. I personally find attending this establishment as inexcusable, as there are similar restaurants in the area with superior service, superior food and a superior atmosphere.
