Came in for lunch at 11:30 today with my friend and her son. We were sat immediately and our waitress came over right away. We had the lunch chicken and steak bowls! Huge portions and they come with soup or salad. I was also able to substitute rice for veggies at no extra cost! We also tried the sushi which was delicious as well. I am a local and plan to visit more often. Yummy!

Meghan was an amazing waitress. She explained everything and was very attentive. Always ready with a smile.
The food was outstanding. Flavorful, plus not like some restaurants the food was plentiful. The meal included salad and soup. The cocktails were well made. My husband is not a fan of Japanese food and only went there for me but he truly enjoyed the food and said he’d go back. That’s a compliment for sure.

Really great Japanese food with great service and wonderful atmosphere. I’ve been to some top notch Japanese food stops and was pleasantly surprised by just how good Odori was. The shrimp & steak were fantastic, as was the rice, soup, and salad. They brought out a number of different sauces to try with our food, which I really enjoyed. Even had a spot of sherbet for a topper. We plan on returning when we next crave oriental cuisine.

I visited with a group of 10, and we still had room! The food was fresh, and the service was fantastic. I’d definitely suggest giving this place a try.

I thought because they dont cook in front of you it would mot be as good, but boy was I wrong. The best Japanese Steakhouse I have been to. I had Steak and Lobster and it was delicious. I am going back next time I’m in North Myrtle.

As Japanese steak houses go, Odori is a solid choice. Portions are huge and the food is good. The ribeye, shrimp and chicken teriyaki were really tasty. Accompanying vegetables were fine. The rice could have been a bit more flavorful but was still good. California roll was fresh, as was the salad, soup was flavorful, and spring rolls were crispy (not too oily). Service was prompt and atmosphere was casual. Kid-friendly.

Extra props to our server. He was fantastic, and it was only his first day! I’d go back just for the service. It’s not a traditional sushi restaurant with sashimi or nigiri, but they do have a nice selection of maki rolls. The salmon poke bowl had just a few pieces of salmon but was generous with rice and veggies, fresh and flavorful overall. The soft shell crab roll wasn’t on the menu, but to our delight, the waiter made it happen. The tempura shrimp was also good. Overall, we were pleased and would definitely return.

Great hibachi in the Myrtle Beach area. We walked right in and were seated immediately. Friendly staff. They have an early bird special until 6pm. I had chicken and shrimp. Husband had ribeye and shrimp. Came with soup, salad, entree and sherbet for about $28. Large serving on the entree. A few bites of my veggies were overly salty, but overall everything was delicious. Small complaint was that everything came out too quickly. Soup and salad came out within a minute or so of each other, and within five minutes, we had our entree. We were the only ones there at the time, so I’m sure that threw it off a bit. Restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Pepsi products.

I was impressed! The food was very good, the portions large (I took a to-go box and got 2 more meals out of my leftovers!!). They do not cook the meal in front of you but there is glass in front of the grill where you could watch them cook if you wanted! Definitely worth going again!

During our stay over the Christmas holiday in North Myrtle Beach, we wanted to find a good Sushi restaurant. After trying other spots, we came across Odori Japanese Steakhouse on Main Street. When we try a new Sushi restaurant, we always order the seaweed salad as a test. If the place can do a good and simple seaweed salad then they know how to make Sushi. On our first visit, we went early afternoon to beat the dinner rush, we were welcomed promptly and seated quickly. Our server was very polite, accommodating and helpful through out our meal. After answering our menu questions, we placed our order and our drinks arrived.
On our second visit we sat at the bar and ordered take out, the bar tender was very polite, helpful and made very good recommendation to us about what to order.
They are gluten free accommodating if you ask your server (tempura batter usually is wheat flour based).
Highlights were the Buddha Roll (no fried shrimp, cooked instead), Flaming Lips roll, spicy tuna roll and the China roll.
After 2 visits we would recommend Odori to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant. All of the staff were polite and treated us well. We will be back…
