We recently held my sister’s baby shower at Odeens at Oak Hills, and could not have been more pleased with the whole process from start to finish.
Barbara was fantastic in helping determine the best menu for our party size (brunch for 30 people). Laurie was wonderful and so helpful when we were setting up our decorations–making sure we had all the linens, ensuring we had the right Playlist for the party, and that all of the details for our event were well socialized amongst the staff–as well as running a tight operation with the bartenders and servers during the party.
The venue itself had the perfect rustic vibe for our fall woodland theme, and was sectioned off from the main dining area, while still allowing sufficient space to move around and take pictures. The food selections (shakshuka, homemade breakfast sausage, frittatta) were absolutely delicious, and the cupcake display was a huge hit!
We are so grateful at how seamless Barbara and Laurie made this event. And all of the partygoers had an amazing time!

The girls and I stopped by this cute restaurant we found so last minute and boy am I happy we did. At first we were nervous because it’s a new place and we’ve never eaten in New Canaan before. However, the manager Laurie made us feel so welcome and appreciated from the time we walked in. The food and service were top tier, everything was great. I definitely will come back with the girls for lunch again!

Talk about a hidden gem! You would never know that there’s a delicious spot for BBQ tucked away at the Oak Hills Park Golf Course. It’s a nice spot where you can get waited on, but casual enough that you unwind and not feel like you have to get super dressed up. We loved sitting outside on the covered porch that overlooks the golf course. It was very peaceful, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We had Theresa as a server, and she was so funny and kind! The manager, Laurie, was also very sweet and everyone made sure that we were well taken care of. The food came out very quickly, and everything we had was delicious. We were really impressed by their specials and housemade desserts. Odeen’s is perfect for the whole family, and we hope you check it out!

I had my baby shower at Odeens at Oak Hills and could not be happier! The staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly (special thanks to Laurie & Barbara!). They let us set up decorations the day before and once the event ended, they helped us clean up the decorations.
The food was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was able to accommodate many different diets including vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free. This was much appreciated!
The room itself was lovely (even on a cold December day). It overlooks the golf course and there was ample space where we did not feel cramped.

We had my daughter’s Sweet 16 party here and it was perfect. The restaurant was so pretty. Decorated so nice for the holidays. The food was delicious. They were easy to work with to accommodate food allergies and restrictions. Fun ice cream bar for dessert. Perfect for the kids and adults. Laurie and Barbara were great and easy to work with. They were so attentive and sweet. Steve was awesome helping with audio and visuals for our slideshow. He even stuck around to make sure it worked throughout the night. Everyone keeps saying what a great party it was. Thanks to everyone again at Odeens for helping her party be a success!!! Everyone had a great time and my daughter was very happy! Great spot!

The two guys working tonight (8/16) were a real class act! Top tier music, excellent and enthusiastic menu recommendations (burgers and house made chips, really awesome… definitely coming back for the burnt ends). We enjoyed our dinner and a beautiful sunset on the porch, cool and relaxed under the outdoor ceiling fans.

As an Industry Veteran who worked the first concession at RGC and mowing Mrs. Dhly’s lawn (sold her land to town for driving range) in 1970’s as a Grade School Kid (trailer on first tee until modular home brought in – fast forward Odeen’s) growing up right across the street, It was not only a nostalgic but proud past visit to the course and then to discover a thriving culinary experience awaiting my round at Odeen’s. Have had 2 negative interactions with Laurie, the manager at Odeens. The most recent: I called to confirm a reservation I made a week ago, Laurie told me they were very booked and there was no record of my reservation. When I said “that’s frustrating”, she actually told me, “not to be frustrated”. OK Laurie, -good advice-I won’t directly express my frustration and instead, act it out on customers the way you do. GO GIRL!!!
