Service and atmosphere:
Service was okay. Not very attentive. We were not asked once if we needed anything. Getting second cup of coffee in the morning would be nice, unfortunately, not at this restaurant.
Food:
We had high hopes by seeing how many people were dining and how many were waiting to be seated.
The food was below average. Fried tomatoes were overdone and hard to cut. Plating was poor too.
Salmon egg Benedict plate had no seasoning. The hollandaise sauce was bland.
Huevos rancheros were badly prepared. No flavour or seasoning.
Pricing:
$$ – not worth it in my opinion.
I believe the only reason why the place was busy was because you can order alcoholic beverages here and other breakfast/brunch spots around don’t offer that.
Now, the Wagyu fried steak? What a surprise! The steak was fried to perfection and topped with poblano gravy absolutely delicious and unique.
Big shoutout to Bryant for taking great care of me! He was friendly, efficient, and made sure I was good throughout my dining experience. I walked in with about two minutes to spare before happy hour ended, and thanks to Bryant, I got to enjoy a perfectly stiff Moscow Mule.
Overall, great food, great service, and cozy vibes just a few small areas that could be improved, but I’d definitely return to Oddfellows again.
