Went there last night for the first time. It was crab cake night. The atmosphere is inviting and lively. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The menu is pretty extensive with good variety. We had the pimento cheese and ham dip with mini biscuits to start – along with cocktails. Our entrees were crab cakes and Chesapeake chicken. Everything was EXCELLENT! Even the smaller details, like the mini biscuits, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, and french fries were of high quality and made with care. This is easily the best meal I’ve had in West Virginia. We will be going back. STRONG RECOMMEND!

The food may have been better had they packaged it right. I had spaghetti and meatballs and they threw my piece of garlic toast in with the meal making it not very pleasing. By the time I got home it looked like this. $25.00 wasted. I tipped $5.00 for the to go order too

We stopped at Oddfellers’ Fine Food on a whim while traveling through Richwood this evening. Every part of our experience was 5/5 stars. Here’s how it went!
We were promptly greeted and seated in their beautiful dining area. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing and comfortable. A waitress warmly welcomed us at our table, gave us menus, and a few minutes to decide. Jourdan was our server.
Upon checking out their Facebook page, I discovered they had a special this evening of fried ramps & okra with a horseradish remoulade to dip. Both our waitress and the sweet lady who dropped off our appetizer were gushing about how delicious the appetizer was, and they were so right! The okra and ramps were hand breaded with flavorful, crispy breading and fried to perfection. The remoulade was creamy with a great horseradish kick.
The menu is varied, and thoughtfully crafted by an obviously skilled chef, who we learned is named Libby. We had a difficult time deciding which of the delicious sounding offerings to choose, but we ended up going with a Bleu Smash burger and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich.
The burger was juicy, hot and topped with a fantastic sautéed onion & bacon jam. The gorgonzola and garlic aioli were the perfect touches to the flavor of this burger.
The chicken sandwich was HUGE, and beautifully cooked crispy chicken coated in a rich and spicy, buttery Nashville hot sauce.
Both sandwiches were on the best buns. They seemed homemade, warm, lightly toasted and the perfect texture.
Jourdan does her job as though shes having the best day ever. We mentioned to each other several times how warm, communicative, and kind she is. The staff truly seem to be happy doing what they’re doing, and that’s rare to see. They must be just as happy at Oddfellers as we were! The owner was also present, carrying on friendly conversations with patrons in the restaurant.
Our entire experience was spot on perfect. Incredible food, incredible service, incredible atmosphere. We are so happy to see such a great establishment in Richwood! Thanks for a great dinner!

This is a great upscale restaurant! A nice Oasis with great ambiance! They have great specials everyday! The bar is a pleasant place to relax as well! Cost with alcohol is $30-40 or $20-30 with a cup of Italian coffee and warmed cream!
