about a month ago i tried to order and the experience was bad. Ive always ordered from here so i was so confused. The salad for the attieke not even worth the $30. Im only writing this review because whoever they have answering the phone is so nasty she literally yelled at me one the phone when i simply asked if they have a soup available. As someone that can make my own food i will just continues to do so at least then it won’t be dry with small meat.

It’s the worst place to eat. You will be disappointed. The service is horrible, especially for the rude female who picks up the phone. She sounds miserable and very ignorant. They never have what is listed on their menu and seem like they are not taking it seriously. Can you imagine how the food is prepared? The same girl has hung up on me when asking for the dishes that were listed. Don’t waste your time and money.

Tried a plate of dry rice with fried fish, and overall it was the best. The rice was cooked good not mushy and it had much flavor on its own. Like the pepper sauce, stew, or even just some vegetables on the side., it came off plain.
The fish was the best part. Fried with a nice crispy skin and some good seasoning — salty, with a hint of heat. It balanced out the plainness of the rice, but it quite enough to make the whole dish feel complete over all good place to eat

Customer service is terrible. I called to ask about catering and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and acted like she didn’t want to answer my questions. She quoted me $1000 for 3 pans of jollof and 2 pans of chicken. Does that even sound right???? And their food isn’t that good either

The food is consistent. Often served cold though (the prep the previous day and sometimes don’t get to warm food up). Very dark inside and drab. Cultural barrier as well.

Food is very good & reasonable prices. It’s no doubt my favorite spot. For service, very poor. They don’t greet customers, they don’t smile. As a customer, I don’t feel welcome. Atmosphere appears very eerie and depressing. Must pay attention to your surroundings the moment you step out of your car. Staff look unhappy & unfriendly. I understand some might be going through personal issues but just make an effort to interact with customers.

This was the second time I got food from here. The first time I went in and they were about to close and I didn’t look at what time they closed, but the person at the counter took my order anyways. Such kind and great service. I ordered the Okra Stu and I asked if they could add beef to it and they did. It was amazing. The second time I doordashed and got the Palm Butter soup and it was delicious. The fufu was good too, portion size is good. Highly recommend to try, I will be trying more of the menu going forward . I have not dined in yet, but when I went the first time everything was clean and organized.

The food has on more than one occasion been subpar. Ordered potato greens once and the innards were cold while the edges were hot as though it had come out of a microwave. Ordered egusi this time and the protein was allot of fat, skin ECT. I even found a fish bone inside. If you are a Trenton local, perhaps consider precious’ kitchen or Ruth’s instead.
