All the food was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavor. We were sat next to the window which was very cold in the winter and the very small dining room temperature fluctuated each time the door opened. Service was friendly and food came out in a reasonable time. Overall a very nice burger joint we look forward to returning to!

This place was recommended by my friend who is a local. Drove from Illinois to Michigan and am really glad we stopped by. Some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I didn’t realize how small the place was when we decided to go. Was pleasantly surprised that they could accommodate our large group. Prices were very reasonable. Beer list is short but includes a pilsner, ipa, stout, and seltzer water. Everything you need really. Will definitely be coming back!

Saw this place was one of the more highly rated places to eat in Chesterton and I can see why now. The burgers were very good along with everything else honestly. The bacon fat garlic fries were good but seemed off, but could’ve just been personal preference. I had the Mexican style burger with guacamole and it was better than expected. Only complaint is it was over cooked for what I ordered but was still great. The desert was some kind of mint chocolate fudge brownie with ice cream and it was very good. The dining room was very tiny and had no blinds so the whole dining room was blinded by the sun until it got later in the day. With that said it was an overall great experience and will be back to try other menu items.

It’s a very small restaurant situated in an old historic building. Seating is very limited with very small tables with either a wood bench or metal chairs. It’s not meant for comfort. We were greeted promptly and the staff was very friendly. We ordered. They don’t have Pepsi or Coke products but offer an obscure Denver diet cola in a can. Yes, a can. It wasn’t very good. My wife opted for water. I think this establishment is geared towards alcoholic beverages as most all of the patrons were drinking alcoholic beverages. There is nothing wrong with that, it’s just my observation. My wife and I both ordered their Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries. After our order was taken it took awhile for our food to arrive. Maybe 25 minutes or so. I must say that our chicken sandwiches were excellent. Super crispy yet tender inside. The toppings were excellent. Their fries are probably the best fries we have tasted since I can remember! Their food is excellent. I believe they are known for their burgers, but our chicken sandwiches where on par with that! If you want a pub style restaurant with excellent food, this is the place!

This place is a local gem! We came in from the Chicago area to hike and grab a bite to eat here and the food was delicious! The small town feel and atmosphere of the place reminded me of where I grew up and felt so homely. The restaurant was full of chatter and movement (in the best way possible). You could tell it is a local favorite and the other reviews reflect that as well. We ordered the roasted edamame appetizer, buffalo chicken fries, the chicken sandwich, and a couple of tasty adult beverages. Everything was spectacular and very fresh. We are excited to stop by the next time we are in town.

Amazing little location with food with major depth of flavor! I had the hot pants burger with Buffalo fries and it exceeded my expectations! Others at the table had the cuban with sweet potato tots and the chanute with garlic bacon fat fries. The tots and fries were so incredibly tasty as well. I ate part of my wife’s canute (I was glad I still had room for it!), but did not get to try the cuban though my friend that had it said he would definitely return to get it again.

Yes, we waited around on a Saturday passing time until they opened at 3pm. They are that good! Awesome post hike meal, but I wish they were open for lunch on Saturdays.

Loved this place. We’re tourists. I had the blackened mahi fish sandwich and tots, my boyfriend had a burger with a gluten free bun and fries. Such a good meal and not too pricey. I have never had mahi cooked so perfectly and the dill caper aioli was so tasty. I also stole a couple bites of the burger and fries and it was cooked perfectly, using high quality meats and cheese. Would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a quality, cooked to order, and comforting hot meal.
