Stayed at this hotel for a work conference and we ended here for dinner. Friendly staff, accommodating with drink requests (Thanks for the extra spicy margaritas Ethan!). Great selection with options for everyone from wings to burgers, sandwiches, steaks… the parm and Lemmon pepper wings didn’t have much distinctive flavors. Overall, everything was great!

Ordered the apple bbq wings and truffle fries to start. The wings were so savory and the fries were so crispy and the seasoning was to die for. My friend got the chicken bacon Alfredo and I got the turkey club. We added some of the truffle fry seasoning to his Alfredo and it was so good. The turkey club was very flavorful though the bread was really dry and crunchy so I got a side of ketchup to dip into so it wouldn’t feel so rough to bite into and the avocado aioli really stood out. The food came out to 70$ which isn’t bad considering how good it was and we have leftovers. Would definitely recommend

We made a reservation and explored the menu the night before to make sure the restaurant would meet our needs because of our families dietary restrictions. We were not hotel guests but came to use the Red Door Spa. On their website they have a menu advertised as “All Day.” When we arrived they were having a special event with the hotel and were only offering a select limited menu which was not advertised on their website. We inquired about the limited menu they brought us an overpriced dinner menu instead. In the end we used the limited menu. It was almost an hour from when we sat down to when we received our food. This was in part because of the delay in ordering but went well beyond a reasonable time frame. We both asked for medium rare and received overcooked well-done burgers. We had to specifically request a vegetable option because there wasn’t one on the menu. The brussel sprouts we received were covered in a thick sugary sauce. Our waitress stated multiple times she doesn’t normally work in the restaurant to justify the back and forth. She seemed very frazzled but was appologietic. Overall, very disappointed.

Nice ambiance. Good service. In terms of steakhouse quality , it does seem to rely on having a captive audience. Steak was decent. One sore point: shrimp cocktail. At $3/shrimp, they should be fresh. Slimy and fishy, “stinky” to be precise, which is really odd for a restaurant that boasts a maritime locale. I hope management reads this review, because it should be an easy fix. Nice overall, but premium steakhouse it’s not. Good wine list.

An absolutely exquisite experience. There’s something called “above and beyond” and our server Ethan took that concept and went to infinity and beyond. Killer delicious drinks, customer service fit for royalty. The cooks knocked it out of the park with the Filet Mignon. Did I mention immaculate service? The server is simply top notch elite. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will absolutely be dining here again.

We made a last minute reservation for two. Had their longtime waitress and our dinners were superb. Tender steak and the cab was Black Stallion.

Waitstaff is extremely friendly and professional. Service is on target. Environment is pleasant. Nice selection of wines. Menu is somewhat limited, but that is probably what makes them great. Fillet mignon was outstanding. Cooked perfectly to request, melted in your mouth and was complemented with perfectly cooked vegetable and potato. Boston cream pie, insanely good. Little pricey but worth every penny of it.

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott this weekend. We had dinner at the Octagon. We first were seated in the dining area but quickly went to the lounge as the menus are different and apparently you can’t get the bar menu in the dining room but can get the dining menu in the bar. The food had delicious flavor but came out cold and our steak which was supposed to be medium was raw. The bar tender that waited our table was great, her name was Amy she was very attentive. She quickly took our meal back to the kitchen and the steak was reheated and cooked a bit more. Mean while the bar tender comped us a glass of wine to share. We then ordered dessert which they didn’t have due to it being back ordered. They comped our dessert we chose as well as gave us an extra to take back to our room. We conveniently charged the meal to our room and upon waking in the morning we found a letter from the restaurant manager under our door with an appogetic comped breakfast as well as Starbucks comps for coffee. The breakfast was delicious as was the Starbucks. They more than made up for the experience we had. We will definitely go back.
