Don’t let the exterior fool you. Ochoa’s Mexican Grill in St. George is the real deal. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It feels like one of those local gems you’re glad you stumbled upon. If you want authentic, delicious Mexican food without the fuss, this is the spot.

Great food, and decently fast service. This was definitely a great choice! The fajita plate and burritos were amazing! The music was a nice mix, and wasn’t blaring loud, which made it nice for a conversation. The the salsa was also great and the mild salsas are actually mild, with a great flavor, instead of just melting your tongue like so many other Mexican restaurants with a salsa bar. I recommend this place.

You get so much value and the food is delicious. The salsas are super flavorful with an approachable amount of spice. One of those burritos you are sad to see gone
Super clean eating area as well

Okay, the Machete (acutely described as big taco) was sooo good, genuinely the best Al Pastor I’ve had in a while and most definitely the best in town we have tried. The food is reason enough, to make this a regular. But Jose provided us with such a good experience! He has an amazing singing voice and if you’re lucky enough will serande you while you eat your food! He obviously cares about interacting and providing each guest with a uniquely enjoyable experience at his restaurant!

I met the owner when ordering. They make everything fresh, and everything we ate was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered the steak fajitas, and my wife ordered the corn enchiladas with green sauce. And my daughter ordered the nachos. Everything was excellent. I’d really encourage you to come try them out. You will not be disappointed.

I had the Machete with chorizo. It was excellent. They have the best home made corn tortilla. The corn tortilla reminded me of a neighbor who made the same traditional handmade tortilla. The owner came over to visit us. Making us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend.

The food here and the folks who make it are exceptional. I highly recommend the birria tacos, the machete, and anything wrapped in a cheese blanket. Honestly, we haven’t tried anything here that didn’t end up being some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in the State. The owners are kind and use their restaurant as a place to establish genuine connections with community. I’ve not heard him yet but I’ve been told that one of the owners has a great singing voice that he shares with patrons at times. I look forward to hearing him. Thank you for the great meals, Ochoa’s.
