I went to O’Charley’s for dinner last night, and I was sorely disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless, and the service was slow and indifferent. I ordered the grilled chicken and ranch sub, and it was the driest, most flavorless sub I’ve ever had. The bread was stale, the chicken was dry, and the ranch dressing was watery. I’m not sure what I was expecting from a place like O’Charley’s, but I certainly wasn’t expecting such subpar food.

We drove out of our way, twice, to go to O’Charleys, only to find out that our favorite food there was no longer available! We loved the Nashville Hot sandwich! It’s the only reason we went there! They treated us very well when they knew what we came for. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, it was good. They even brought us a free piece of yummy key lime pie! We are still going to miss the sandwich though.

Our first and only time at an O’Charley’s. The food was horrible. The loaded potato soup was not soup… It tasted and looked like an artificial cheese sauce. It would be better served with a basket of tortilla chips; maybe then we could actually eat it. The rolls were tasteless and truly sub par; I can’t remember any rolls I’ve had that were so bad. The sandwich was also tasteless (How can you mess up a simple ham and cheese sandwich?), and the chicken pineapple bowl was so salty that I would swear the cook added a quarter cup of salt in addition to the teriyaki sauce. Barely edible. The restaurant itself was pretty, spacious, and clean.

I forgot to take a picture of my food because I was hungry and it looked good. Got peach chutney chicken with mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli for lunch. Great dish. It’s not too expensive and is a good quality meal. The dine in experience is comfortable and the wait staff are quick and nice. We got there right at open and they weren’t mad or anything. Parking is decent but I have seen it crowded during peak times. We are regular customers. Plan on staying that way. I recommend the chicken strips, honey mustard, and bread for those not having been here before.
