Ocha is my favorite restaurant in Cookeville! Every time when I’m homesick, i will go to Ocha! And the owner is very nice and friendly! We talk a lot and he is just like my grandpa. I love the spicy chicken and spicy beef with rice, and add some veggies! So yummy! They also serve egg rolls, chicken balls and cream cheese. So many delicious food!

This place is a Cookeville classic. It is run by a super nice family who always remember what I ordered last time i visited. The selection is small, but the portions are a good bang for the buck (no credit cards accepted). I really love the stewed chicken wings, which practically slide off the bone. The spicy entrees will light you up, if you’re into that. The steamed vegetables are always fresh and tasty, and they make great egg rolls. I can’t say enough good words about the owner and the good atmosphere of this place. I have eaten here a countless number of times, and have never had to wait more than a few minutes. They serve really tasty Jasmine tea (not from bags). One cool thing is all the paintings, artwork, and bonsai plants on display. Check em out! Deelish!

Ocha’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Cookeville. We go at least once every 2 weeks. They have a hot bar with rice, noodles, and 8 different choices of entrees. They also have cheese rangoon, eggrolls & wontons. You can get either bottled water, canned sodas or tea. I always get half rice, half noodles, sweet and sour pork, an egg roll, and 2 cheese rangoon. This is a family business and they make their food fresh every day. I’m allergic to MSG, so it’s nice to be able to get delicious food that isn’t going to make me sick. I promise if you go to Ocha’s, you won’t be sorry!

Started going there in 1986. Very good people and very good food. In 1987, I ate there so much I actually bought a “meal ticket”. Paid them a flat fee for a certain number of meals, and they would mark them off as I used them. After nearly 40 years, they still know my wife and I when we visit. Nothing tastes like Ocha. One year for my wife’s birthday, I went and bought her 20 orders of beef and broccoli, roast chicken with rice. She put them in the freezer and would heat them up when she had a craving.

Love their food and the fact it’s locally owned. Only downside is they do not accept debit or any card transactions, cash only and their hours vary but the food is EXCELLENT! This place has been around since I was a little girl and remember going in with my family to eat and still to this day the food tastes the same (which is hard to find nowadays). They are quick to take orders and you can either take your food to go or set down in the restaurant. Portions are good! I highly recommend the spicy chicken and take home a few egg rolls.. they are the best in town!!

No other place like it! Wonderful family run business. Stop here every time I pass thru Cookeville and load up plenty of to go!!Gone here since I attended Tenn Tech back in early 90’s. See they are temporary closed…hope they open back up soon!! I am bummed they are closed this weekend. Please open back up soon! Can’t imagine Cookeville without it!!!

I love this place! The man who gets ur food for you is always the sweetest and he always knows exactly what I order and have ordered for the past 12 years. I love this place and the family who run it! I recommend anyone who enjoys Thai food to give it a try. But don’t expect variety. They serve up the same awesomeness every day and have very limited hours so see if they are open before u go if you are unfamiliar with their hours.

Hands down the best restaurant in Cookeville! The staff is amazing and always remembers my order! I highly recommend the spicy beef and vegetables! The egg rolls and homemade sweet and sour sauce will send you to the moon! It’s a must try if you’re in town!
