Love their soups!!! Crab soups and clam chowder are the best. The service is super friendly, we have been coming here for some time and we look forward to the Summer to enjoy a nice dinner. It’s a BYOB.

Best seafood takeout in AV by a mile! Love their fish tacos, and she crab soup. Can’t go wrong with any of their platters, but particularly like the shrimp or crab cake platters. Quite often some delicious desert in the fridge by the check out too!

Oceanside Seafood is perfect for good takeout seafood dinners. We had the Shrimp in a Basket and Shrimp Scampi. The shrimp in a basket came with a baked potato and coleslaw. Very good. Shrimp were fried perfectly and not greasy at all. The shrimp scampi was good, but it needed more sauce. The shrimp were fresh and cooked well. The service was quick and friendly. Overall a very good experience.

The Crab Nachos are a great appetizer large and enough for a handful of people to share. Filet was cooked nicely! Great service and friendly staff.

The service is AMAZING! The food is very good, we had the Scallops, Calamari, Ahi Tuna. Everything was good, and reasonably priced. Also very nice and attentive. Thank you very much. Recommend it 100%

The food was barely lukewarm and we had to reheat it at home. Amount of coleslaw that came with Snow Crab was laughable. Fried calamari was not very good. Overall, food was subpar for the prices.

Average food at best, service also average at best, waited forever to pay. Flounder was so bland, lobster was very rubbery. Caeser salad was delicious.

I ordered a very simple meal. The lobster grilled cheese, which was totally burned on one side, and not on the other tells me that the cook was deceitful with the way the meal was packaged

My husband and I recently dined at Oceanside Seafood, Avalon, and we were incredibly disappointed. To give Oceanside the benefit of the doubt, the muscle appetizer was decent, but not nearly scrumptious enough to compensate the disgrace of an entree to follow it. We got the exceedingly overpriced shrimp scampi. While the price tag alone was painful, we hoped the auspiciously described garlic and butter shrimp pasta would soften the blow. To our disappointment, though, the pasta only blew smoke into the already burning hole in our wallets. The noodles themselves were both al dente and mushy; so unevenly cooked it seemed the pot held too little water. The overcooked shrimp appeared to be sprinkled with pepper and a sad amount of additional seasoning, too ambiguous to name. Not to mention, the random cold chunks of tomato thrown on top of the dish acted as a pointless, flavorless addition. While the three culinary miseries previously mentioned were painful enough, none of them were as miserable as the “garlic butter sauce” hidden underneath. This “sauce” tasted of nothing more than bland pasta water, with a pinch of salt mixed in to hide the lazy display. After complaining, nothing was done in response, only a brief apology from our waitress, and a surprisingly full bill. All in all, Oceanside Seafood should seriously reconsider what they believe is flavor, and should alter their menu to include “pasta water” as an option for sauce.

Went here the other night with my son because a friend recommended coming here. My server I believe her name was Sam. She was on point with everything and was very informative on what my son and I should eat that night. I am happy with her suggestions of the mussels in red along with our entrees which was a fried scallops and shrimp platter my son with the whisky maple salmon. Everything was fabulous, all employees were helpful, I’ll be back.
