Food was delicious and portion sizes good, carnita soft tacos were small, glad he ordered 3 and they are delicious, watch out for the Diablo sauce with it…….it will definitely hurt you.

I went on a Friday night and they had a really good reggae band on the patio. The music was a bit too loud to sit outside, but we could hear it fine inside and actually have a conversation. The food was also really good, I had the shrimp tacos. And our server was prompt and nice. I’ll go back.

Very disappointed with this visit. Our visit in 2022 was awesome, so we wanted to come back for the Pina Hawaiian (fajitas served in half a pineapple) and also the Pineapple Crush drink (also served in a pineapple). After getting seated, we waited a good 20 min before anyone came to take our order. We were told they couldn’t do the Pineapple Crush because they were out if pineapple. Ordered the Pina Hawaiian also no pineapple. However everyone around us had pineapple ♀️

This was my second visit to this place today and again it just happened to be Taco Tuesday so it was a dollar off my beef tacos. I wasn’t a fan of the table I was seated because the sun was in my face but it eventually began to set. The bowl of tortilla chips with the meal was generous. The beef tacos were good but smaller than I expected and not as good as the birria tacos I got last time. My server Kelsey was great. Overall maybe not the best place for Mexican at the Oceanfront, but the food is still good and so was the service I’ve gotten at both my visits.

Stopped in for after dinner drinks and had a great time. Our bartenders Mckenzie & Fallon were awesome! In addition to delicious drinks, they also were super friendly and gave us great recommendations on their favorite places in VA Beach. They also had live music which was great. Highly recommend stopping in if you want a great drink. The prickly pear margarita was our favorite!

Our bartender was fine. The ground beef tacos were horrendous. I should have eaten the dogfood I brought. The pork tacos were decent, credit where it’s due. 9$ for MAYBE 8oz of (seemingly) tequila-less margarita. Watched a server shoo a fly off of a plate and hand it to the guest. Absolutely mind-blowing. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day with this place.

My family and I had a pretty nice time here. I ordered a Molcajete, the little sauce in it was really good and fit well with all the meat options. It also came with tortillas, rice and some other stuff. The wait was a bit too much and the atmosphere was ok. This place isn’t very organized in the sense of staff (at least I think) but the staff is nice. Overall, this is a nice restaurant.

We arrived for an early dinner at 5:00. The restaurant had only 5-6 tables that were occupied. The food was excellent however, the service was entirely terrible. We ordered an appetizer that came out with the rest of the meals. Not once did our waitress return after the server delivered our food to ask how it was, if it was delivered as it was ordered, or to even ask if we wanted any drink refills(3 of our 4 drinks were empty). I had to go to the bar to ask for our bills and once they were delivered, a mandatory 18% gratuity was included and taxed. My bill was supposed to be $52 but after the mandatory gratuity and tax, the bill was $75 for 2 people. No way did the waitress deserve the 18% gratuity. When we questioned the bill, the waitress stated that every Oceanfront restaurant in Virginia Beach is charging the 18% “service charge”. This however is incorrect as we ate at Ocean Eddy’s a few nights ago and were not charged that mandatory gratuity.
