The reason I gave this restaurant a 1 star is because how the women behind the counter reacted when my dad told them he wants a refund. So I went to this restaurant with my parents and it was fine until my mom’s break was over because she had a lunch break. So my dad went up and asked if its almost done and a women said it takes 15 minutes but we got there at 1 pm and it was already 1:34 pm. So my dad came and sat down with us then he had to go back up there and said he wants a refund because its taking too long. Then a bunch of women starting having a attitude and slamming cabinets.

I ordered the Philly steak, and it was amazing. I did end up waiting for roughly 20 min in total, but I would do it again. That said, if you are in a time crunch maybe come back another time, but do come back! The food came out fresh and hot with so much flavor. The staff were friendly & the food was great, I will definitely be back!

I called in an order and let them know it would be 40 mins until I got there. I wanted to try the liver and mushrooms, and had been looking forward to it. The Mushrooms to me were Great, and I’ve had the okra, which was good, but the Liver was trash.. It tasted like burnt fried flour and burnt meat. I have never tasted anything that bad from a place like this before. I’m actually about to head to Chick-a-dilly so I can get some fresh liver (what I was craving) that doesn’t taste like burnt whatever.

The workers are friendly and helpful. It’s gonna take a while to get your food, but it’s worth the wait. They’re the only place in town with fried crawfish tails, to my knowledge.
