Classy restaurant in Evanston with high quality cuisine. Servers were also spectacular! Restaurant is family owned and operated, with Chef Mark Grosz and his wife, Renee Andre. The chef came out several times during the evening to personally check on patrons.

Terrific seafood focused restaurant run by Chef Mark Grosz. All the fish is wonderfully prepared and other dishes are equally delectable. The bouillabaisse is a favorite of my husband’s I lean towards the fish preparations. Save room for dessert. It’s worth it!

Excellent excellent excellent! Exceeded expectations in every way. The 5 course tasting menu was so perfectly flavored – definitely going to be our new go to nice dinner restaurant! We had the the salmon tartare amuse bouche, lobster salad, peach sorbet palate cleanser, sea bass, and a pumpkin and chocolate cream dessert. It was all delicious!!

Made reservations for a celebratory family dinner. We were greeted by Harry, the Hospitality Mgr and promptly seated at our table. Not for a moment did we want for anything. Upon being seated we were immediately asked for our desired libations , water and bread were promptly served as well. The specials were offered, orders taken, wine tastes inquired upon and suggested wine pairings made. I must say that we were ALL most impressed with our selections. Food was absolutely phenomenal and the service spectacular. We were personally checked in on by Owner and Chef Mark Grosz, several times throughout our experience. The experience left us all wanting for words. You will not be disappointed, Oceanique not only delivers on food and service but it delivers the complete experience of what fine dining should always be.

We were here with friends and we had a 5 course prix fixe menu. Everything was beautifully presented, very fresh and very tastey. Service was attentive. They had no problem adjusting for a food sensitivity in a manner that did not impact the meal.
