Brittney was a fantastic server! This is an old-style restaurant with that classic quality you just don’t find everywhere anymore. The grits and food were off-the-charts good, and the service was excellent. Watching the surfers and soaking in the beach view made it even better. It’s been over ten years since we were last here, but man was spot on — still as great as ever!

The food was good. We were hoping to catch breakfast but barely missed it. Lunch menu was super small. We settled for the smash burgers with onion rings. The burger was super good no complaints. The waiter made sure to take care of us. We loved that we got to sit outside and enjoy the view. Been coming here for some years now but I usually only come for breakfast! Nice spot tucked in the back of a parking lot.

Food was good. My wife had the calamari she said it could’ve been a little crispier and was a little chewy, but was still good. She also had a frozen painkiller said it was one of the best drinks of the trip. I had the catch of the day which was drum. Had it fried with coleslaw and french fries a very good lunch. Then tried their rum old-fashioned pretty good drink, but then sitting outside on the pier on a beautiful afternoon looking at the ocean scenery couldn’t be better. Our server was Brittney and she was awesome. So overall, we will be back.

We did not eatat the pier but we did fish. We paid $15 each to fish all day long. We caught over 100 baby croakers. Beautiful scenery, awesome atmosphere & relaxation

Update: (5/4/25) They just opened back up for the season. The entire menu isn’t new, but there are some fabulous tweaks. Try the octopus (ask for extra sauce) & the ceviche. Both are well done. They’ve subtly revamped the Carolina Dog & the changes are working nicely, and the new fries are great.

Nice place! I expected a tourist trap with way overpriced generic food. Not the case at all. Service was very good. Food made to order. Everything tasted very fresh and had great flavor. Very surprised with the burger. Would have paid $9 for that just about anywhere, and this was beachfront. It is a bit small and the interior dated. The bathrooms are really not great. The men’s is almost scary. The food and service earned it 5 stars. Must see.

Thought we were walking into an average beach front restaurant and so happy it wasn’t. Truly great to see a chef put out a menu on the beach with some real food. Highly recommend the deviled eggs, smoked fish dip and off the chefs specials menu the grilled fig and goat cheese app.

Service was great! If it hadn’t been raining then the view would have been wonderful too. The oyster burger was delicious! The tostones and conch fritters could have used some seasoning. That were both a bit bland. I would try this place again. It’s truly a hidden gem.
