Was looking for a water view for dinner and saw this place pop up. Started with a tea based cocktail which was amazing and perfect for the slightly chilly evening. I had the seafood risotto which tasted fine but thought it was odd that I had to both deal with mussel shells AND shrimp tails to eat it. My wife had the pasta and same shrimp tails issue with hers. The prices were fairly steep for what felt like better than average fare. Also be prepared for seagulls to come pretty close up while dining. Had to shoo a couple away.

Excellent location (nice terrace with a view on water), friendly service and relaxed ambiance. Our food was good quality, in sufficient quantity, and well cooked and presented (the caramelized scallops and the tuna were perfect). Sure it is a bit overpriced, but you pay for the view. Large list of wines (half price on thursdays).

This restaurant continues to be outstanding in every regard. In addition to the steamed clams, we had the most wonderful seared albacore tuna steak dinner that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We dined on Thursday evening and also enjoyed their half-price bottled wine. We were seated outside on their patio, which is very comfortable. Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I can’t wait to go their again!

We went for a walk in sail Bay on a beautiful cloudless day in October. When we reached the catamaran we saw everyone sitting out in the patio and the breakfast looked great!

Couldn’t get parking other than valet for 40$. The service was great but only got a couple sodas while waiting for family member to park. There is not any parking anywhere nearby and the secured lot is only for hotel guests, not restaurant guests. The staff was very kind and attentive and the food looked adequate priced. The portions I saw were small/appropriate not the giant size belly-busting plates most Americans serve. I wish we had been able to park and actually eat here.

I have been a fan of Oceana for many years, and I must say they continue to impress! I booked a Sunday brunch for a girls’ weekend, and it was a perfect experience all around. Our server, Stephen, was amazing! Sweet, engaging, professional, and the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. Special shoutout to Sam, the sushi chef as well, for immediately offering to make me a special roll when I mentioned an allergy. The food was fantastic, both menu selections and the decadent buffet, the mimosas flowed freely, and the patio offered a lovely atmosphere to enjoy the entire experience. Hands down one of my favorite brunches anywhere!!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. We had a dinner reservation for 10 which was easily accommodated. First, it took 10-15 minutes for waters to come out. The drinks and appetizer crunchy ribs were amazing leading me to believe the rest of dinner would be. The Caesar salad was made with watery ranch with absolutely no Caesar smell or taste, more dressing was brought out and it was pure white. The sea bass was extremely dry, most everyone had to add salt and pepper to their dishes, flatbreads have minimal toppings and a small side order of potato’s were brought out after all ten people finished their meals hot claiming the old ones “sat too long and needed to be remade” but it was very obvious they were forgotten. Reddit raved about this place and only 1/10 people were satisfied. They ordered the tofu dinner.

We went to this place because the Google menu said they had local sea bass, which would have been caught locally there and wanted to try it. Called ahead and found that they did not have sea bass, nor was it on their current menu, but they did say they had oysters. We ended up getting the last five oysters there. Ended up having fancy fish which I split with my friend. The bottle of wine recommended by the server was great. Service was excellent.

Located in a beautiful hotel in the Mission Bay area of San Diego. Hotel lobby was lovely with an indoor Coy pond and multiple waterfalls. Patio looked out onto a small grass area and then a sand beach. LOTS of activity in both of those areas. The food was unspectacular, neatly presented. The seafood cioppino was nicely flavored in a.small portion. Very disappointing that they charged $11.00 for a small basket of bread, especially since they provide NO bread to the table as almost every other restaurant does so. The white sea bass was somewhat bland, offering no distinctive flavor. The side of mashed avocado and corn was especially disappointing. Overall the dinner left much to be desired.
