My favorite Poke spot on the island. Was elated when they reopened in South Shore Marketplace. Excellent fresh premium poke used in every dish, which the owner selects from market fresh daily (the couple that owns this restaurant are hard working and very friendly).
All of their Poke bowls are excellent but the most impressive (and unique) in my opinion is the Torched Garlic Buttered Ahi (or Salmon) Poke Bowl. Well worth the additional cost and I would recommend to everyone. Perfect cut servings that melt in your mouth. 10/10 highly recommend.

We really enjoyed their torched garlic salmon poke bowl! Although it is a little pricey compared to the serving size, but you will be satiated and satisfied. First bite and it just melts in your mouth. The garlic balances so well with the fish and everything else! Also, don’t forget to pair it with their honey calamansi drink!! It’s so refreshing.
Will definitely come back whenever I’m in town!

I was craving dingguang, chocolate meat. J Mart Kalihi makes delicious ones! Pictured is their Pork Adobo. Chocolate meat was made yet. H Mart Kalihi is a very interesting place. There’s lots of food items you won’t find in regular supermarkets like Safeway.

The food is incredible! If you’re a garlic lover, I would go for the garlic bowls. They are full of flavor. We also had the spicy Mentaiko Tuna bowl and that was 10/10! The meals are a little bit pricey and smaller for the price but you pay for quality and taste here.

its a good addition to the neighborhood, some might consider their portions a bit small. so the value proposition is low. got the poke bowl over sushi rice, my eyes did not roll nor my taste buds partied, it was ok in a good way. they have wonky hours of op, so check before you go. otherwise a decent place if in the area, not a destination one line up for.

The overall flavor had a strong Korean influence—for better or worse. As a Japanese person, I found both the poke and seafood bowl too salty for me, which overpowered the natural taste of the ingredients. The rice was also poorly prepared, which was a letdown. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend these menu items.

What a hidden gem! The torched spicy mentaiko bowl is hands down the star—smoky, creamy, and addictive in every bite. Pair it with their honey calamansi juice (liquid sunshine, truly top tier) and you have a combo that feels unforgettable. Already dreaming of my next visit.
