Ocean Sushi is one of the best places to eat in Mountain Home, ID! Service is amazing, as the staff are super friendly and helpful. When one staff member asks if you’re okay or need anything they all listen to what you have to say and they all rapidly try and help. The food is so great, having tons of flavor and delightful texture. The presentation of the food is immaculate with vibrant colors and carefully placed and organized dishes. 10/10 highly recommend!

My family and I lived in Japan for 9 years so we’re huge fans of sushi. Imagine our surprise when we move to tiny Mountain Home, Idaho and find the MOST amazing & delicious sushi spot! An incredible family-owned business, too!
We eat here a few times a month and my kids always request sushi for their birthdays!
There is a wide selection of sushi available. We have 7 people in our family so we’ve tried a good portion of their menu and we’ve loved every single thing! Everything is made to order by an amazing family. They’re always so friendly and helpful when you walk through the door. We love this place so much!

First time trying them out. The family who runs the place was very kind and charming, I love to see a family run business. The owner even offered to order a sake I would like, what a nice guy! They offer some fun specialty rolls and have all the best Japanese beers. I will absolutely be back, as it’s the only spot in town to get sushi. Support them!

Lovely staff/owners with good memory. Second time here. Thoughtful as we have 2 in the group with separate allergies and they accommodated beautifully.
Nice restroom (but only 1). Cozy restaurant. Always have a been able to get a seat with 5 or more, but would call first if you have a party larger than 4 people. Not advertised, but they do have a kids menu on the written board [not in the printed menu]. I would like an option for soup and chicken option (one of the kiddos loves soup but not rice so much). There were more than 8 different combos and kiddy bento boxes. We ordered the kids soup and rice and he definitely enjoyed it, but is more of a soup and meat kiddo. All you can eat will have you rolling out of there looking for a place to nap! Thank you Ocean Sushi for being in Mountain Home.

These guys know how to treat people!! They make you feel at home and everything! My daughter and I come in every other Thursday when I have her for the week! And they know what I get!!! Their food is amazing we’ve never been disappointed!!

This place is amazing! The food is great and the AYCE is worth every penny! Today was the 2nd time going to Pacific Sushi and I cant think of one negative. The AYCE price is perfect and you truly get your money’s worth. I ordered a to-go order today getting just two specialty rolls and they not only filled me up but were delicious. We will continue to come back for more. (Only note I can say that was a little negative was the staff should not laugh at customers because they cant use chopsticks. When my brother asked for a fork because he didn’t know how to use chopsticks, he was laughed at. He felt a little embarrassed but the food was so good he didn’t care after the first bite.)

Lots of shrimp tempura…. The more expensive fish like tuna and salmon are hardly available. I’d love to see more of the traditional sushi and less “saucy” options. Overall fair prices and easy to get in and out of. Off main road, Airbase Road. In town.

Mountain Home is lucky to have sushi like this in our small town. Great food for a great value. You have to have a upside down deep fried shrimp and a mountain roll.

The quality of the sushi here is actually surprising based on the fact that it was difficult to find the location! For being a smaller town it’s really nice to come across a place that has quality sushi without having to drive into Boise!
Temperatures have been over 100° for several weeks this summer, and the AC was not working that great in there, but the atmosphere was nice, the staff was nice, and the food was quality, also best of miso soup I’ve had in a long time!
If you’re in the area and want some quality sushi I would definitely recommend this place!
