Solid menu with a plentiful option of meals and rolls of all levels. Free on-site parking lot in a small plaza. Next door to Starbucks. Friendly wait staff. Fresh food was served at 230 pm on a Wednesdsy. Clean restrooms. Decent lighting in the dining area. Chair seating, no booths. Sushi bar as well. Light music plays from ceiling mounted speakers.

The sushi was incredibly fresh, with each piece of fish melting in your mouth. I tried their signature sushi platter, and it was a great variety of nigiri and rolls, all perfectly prepared. The tuna and salmon were especially fresh, and the spicy tuna roll had just the right amount of heat.

Ocean Sushi really brings it with all of their menu options. We’ve eaten there well over 10 times now since we moved into the area and it’s our favorite Sushi in the area. Every time we’ve ventured away from the Sushi those meals were wonderful as well! The food always feels and tastes fresh. Not to mention absolutely delicious. There are tons of options to please everyone in your group and it’s very easy to share with your entire table. They also recently renovated, added more space and it’s beautiful. A major upgrade from what it was before. Staff is always great, service is fast and we will continue to be regulars! Prices remain fair and like most places have increased. Enjoy!!

Ordered here the other night and believe I ended up with food poisoning from the sushi. Ordered the shrimp tempura rolls and California rolls. We also got the steamed gyozas, they were good but one had a piece of bone fragment in it. Between that and the food sickness, won’t be eating here again. When picking up my order there was also stacked fried shrimp tempura just sitting out behind the counter.. sad 🙁

I personally think this place is amazing. It is very comfortable, a sense of home here, and a small but decent sized restaurant. I have tried many miso soups, and the one made here is now my #1 favorite. The kani poppers are delicious. The sexy jalapenos are beautiful AND delicious. Also, I love the sweet potato roll! 😀
From utica through Oneida, I highly suggest trying this restaurant!

I ordered takeout so I didn’t experience the service. However, the staff were very nice during my pickup.
As for the food, it was delicious. I ordered the Crab Rangoons, Salmon (sushi) Roll, Yaki Soba (noodle dish), and Miso Soup. All the dishes were very flavorful and tasted fresh. Definitely will be going back to try more things soon!

Absolutely love Ocean Sushi. The food is always fresh, fast, and delicious, they have the best sushi! Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad meal here. Definitely recommend if your looking for great sushi. Pictured is the Playboy roll, Spicy Scallop roll, Yellowtail Scallion, Mexican Roll, Sunflower roll, and Sushi Deluxe.
