Reviews
We just had a wonderful experience at Oceans 7 in Clearwater Beach and felt compelled to share it. We chose this restaurant for its reputation for great seafood and breathtaking sunset views, and it absolutely delivered on both.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a lovely window table overlooking the water. A handwritten anniversary card was waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and immediately set the tone for a special evening.
Our server, Tiffany, was outstanding—attentive, kind, and genuinely happy to help us celebrate. We started with the deviled crab cakes, enjoyed excellent wine, and had a delicious dinner of fresh Florida grouper and an incredible tenderloin. Everything was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed.
After enjoying a complimentary dessert—the delicious upside-down pineapple cake—we thought the evening couldn’t get any better. Then, at the end of our meal, we were deeply moved to learn that a nearby corporate table had generously covered our entire dinner after hearing we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Their unexpected kindness brought us to tears and was a beautiful reminder that there is still so much good in this world.
Between the incredible food, the stunning setting, the exceptional service, and an unforgettable act of generosity, this was an evening we will never forget. Thank you to Tiffany, Oceans 7, and some wonderfully kind strangers for making our milestone anniversary truly magical.
Food: We were blown away by the top notch quality of the menu at Ocean Seven. The stars of the show were the Wagyu and the Coconut Shrimp Crunch Roll. Food came out quickly and hot, orders were accurate, and the taste was SO GOOD. This place certainly knows how to cook an amazing steak.
Venue: The entire place is gorgeous, but I tip my hat to the designer of the Suite Seven room. The floors are a beautiful mosaic, the walls have STUNNING green tropical incandescent wallpaper and nice tall windows give you a fabulous view of the ocean. There’s beautiful gold lighting fixtures. Seats are a gorgeous blue and yellow velvet. The room also has a TV and audio system for your slideshow and music.
Staff: We worked directly with their Event Coordinator, Karina. I’ve worked in events for 5+ years and must say that working with Karina was so easy and pleasant! She knew the answers to all my questions (trust me, I asked a lot), helped customize my experience, and was there day-of to ensure our event went smoothly. The wait, kitchen, and bar staff were BEYOND kind and I even had several of my guests compliment the staff’s friendliness to me.
To make a long story short, our special day was made even more fantastic by my experience at Ocean Seven. Highly recommend hosting your events here. I know I’ll be back!
*Food was not tasty : poached egg was hard boiled. Hollandaise had no flavor.
*Waited to be seated for 10 minutes. Hoster was there. Lots of empty tables but she said ”wait here 5 min, I have something to do”.
*waited 30 minutes for food (only 2 other tables were occupied)
*when I asked for the check, the waiter…. forget to bring it !! 15 min later I went to the bar ”oh I forgot you”
It’s a shame because the place is nice.
Hiatus Hotel is great but breakfast is really disappointing.
