Can I find the words to describe Ocean Prime? Exquisite? Fantastic? Delicious? Perhaps the most delicious food I’ve ever had? It was so good. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food is always delicious and prepared perfectly! The service is always top-notch! I come here specifically for the pineapple picante! I love the truffle popcorn, the Chilean sea bass, all the sides, and crème brûlée. I take myself here for my birthday yearly and always have a wonderful experience!

Amazing experience. The atmosphere is A1. I would highly recommend this place for a date night birthday dinner. Every staff minute member was very attentive and willing to help if you had any questions or if you wanted to get him a drink they were on top of it every step of the way having a friendly staff definitely does make the experience a lot better the food was timely, plated to perfection, and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for a great night out in Chicago not to mention the views are amazing. Overall, this will be one of my go to spots for special occasions.

We stopped in after an architecture tour on a Sunday at around 5pm. Perfect timing because we were able to make a last minute reservation. Delicious food & superb service for us. I can’t remember our server’s name but she was knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. I asked her about vegetarian options and she let me know they had one off the menu, she was very helpful!

Pretty good seafood and steakhouse located in a prime location in downtown Chicago. Had a few different dishes, all were pretty good. My main protein was the bone-in filet, it could have used some butter to finish it off. A friend had the ribeye, tried a piece and that was better. Nice place overall but a bit pricey.

I’m pleased to know my opinion about ocean prime has always been correct. A mediocre food chain disguised as a luxe dining experience. The plating on the filet mignon (without add-ons) was so bare it was awkward to look at on such a big plate. Sushi was edible, but nothing stood out as exceptional.

We had a wonderful birthday experience at Ocean Prime and can’t wait to return! The highlights were the smoking shellfish tower, blue cheese crusted filet, the branzino (super yum!!!), White truffle caviar deviled eggs (definitely will repeat this one) and the fun cocktails! My favorite part of the meal was the Jalapeno au gratin potatoes! Service was wonderful thoughtful and great attention to detail gluten free items are clearly marked and many of the items on the menu were clearly marked for food allergies. The view from the main dining room was lovely and they also had outdoor patio seating.
