Ocean Prime DC is a true gem! We booked our reservation through OpenTable, which made everything easy and seamless. I started with the Berries and Bubbles, which had a stunning presentation with dry ice smoke swirling around the glass. For appetizers, my husband and I absolutely loved the Asian Thai styled calamari and the crab cakes. Both were flavorful and perfectly prepared. We then shared the lobster linguine with shrimp scampi, which was rich, fresh, and a perfect dish for two.
For dessert, we enjoyed the complimentary butter cake with berry sauce and ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.
The highlight of the evening, though, was the outstanding service. Do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Jiya’s section. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience special.
Highly recommend Ocean Prime for an elevated dining experience in DC!

Excellent food and drinks. Very impressive and expensive. Definitely will be going again. Hit the happy hour if you want to save money. Reservations need for dinner bit has a large bar area.

We had a fantastic time. Demetrius was our server and he made the experience a thousand times better! Food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice, and Demetrius’ service really made my night a 10/10. Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was PHENOMENAL. David was our server and he was very attentive and honest in his recommendations. From the appetizers to the dessert, we were blown away! They were even able to turn one of the cocktail drinks into a mocktail for us and it didn’t disappoint! So much so, that we visited two days in a row! It’s you’re looking for a nice place to have a dinner date and enjoy great food, ocean prime is the place to be.

My children surprised me with dinner at Ocean Prime on my birthday which happened to fall on Columbus Day.
The restaurant was busy but the staff were really nice and the atmosphere was relaxed.
The wait staff were amazing and the bar manager Robert and the entire staff that waited on us made us delicious drinks.
I had the shellfish Cobb which was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the crab cake, my son had the surf in turf and my other son had the something that he enjoyed the name escapes me and my grandson enjoyed the truffle fries.
While my kids raved about their favorite dessert , the butter cake, the chocolate cake was delicious and the end to a wonderful evening. Thank you all for making our family night and my birthday the best.

We had one of the best restaurant experiences of our lives at Ocean Prime DC. As restaurant owners ourselves, we were blown away by the combination of flawless service, amazing atmosphere, and the way the staff treated our family.
Our waiter, Francisco, deserves special recognition. He made our four children feel like absolute princesses, so much so that our 7-year-old daughter actually cried because she thought he was the kindest man she’d ever met. That level of genuine warmth and care is rare, and it turned what could have been just another dinner into a memory we’ll treasure forever.
It’s not uncommon for servers to be nervous or even a little hesitant when faced with a table of six that includes four kids, but at Ocean Prime we felt completely welcomed and accommodated. Francisco went above and beyond both times we visited (yes, we went back and specifically asked for him!), and he truly made our trip.
The food was equally phenomenal, everything cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. Not a single boring bite the entire time.

This was my first time at any of your restaurants, I came on a business dinner with a good colleague who is well seasoned in your venue. Alexander and Steven were great hosts for our business dinner, well attentive and respecting our conversation during a dining experience. Sea bass was AMAZING!! Recommend! Didn’t get a photo, but the tuna, sushi, salad and dessert didn’t disappoint either!
