Great food, crabs all year round. Oystes, shrimp and fish. Full meal and sandwiches. The Seafood Mac & Cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Not child’s play. Ocean Pride is a crab house so keep in mind it is rustic. Service is friendly but a little slow

We ordered 2 dozen medium crabs for four of us. When they came out we couldn’t believe how big they were. They were still steaming hot and well seasoned. This was mid February and they were awesome.
I’ve gone to Ocean Pride many times over the years and the food has never let me down.

This is classic place that has has some renovations over the years but bar is very similar to what it was. The shrimp ate great as are the the ocean pride sliders which gives you a sample of 3 different dishes…the shrimp salad, crab cake and believe chicken….worth it if you’re not sure what to order. Place has plenty of tvs for sports and outdoor patio that is new nut not much of a view other than just parking lot.

Great place to sit back and relax. Cozy atmosphere great waitresses, they are very accommodating tip is already included in bill but they deserve it. It’s not even what I came here to rave about…most importantly the CRABS! We got 1/2 dozen “whale” size crabs. Totally worth it. Meat was juicy and sweet….crabs very meaty seasoning just right not too hot or salty. We got a baked potato and hush puppies to go with our crabs. Hush puppies are flavorful perfectly fried with cinnamon butter on side.

Your crabcakes are excellent and service is usually good but the cleanliness needs to be addressed. Dead flies on the window sills sticky salt and pepper shakers not full dirty floors our chairs had crumbs on them maybe side work isn’t getting done? Staff needs to be aware of this. Your bathrooms were clean. But glass doors leading into restaurant were full of fingerprints.!

We got four dozen steamed crabs. The crabs were excellent. We also got crab cakes as well as Maryland crab soup, and a salad. Everything was great! We had plenty of room at our table. We went on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of places for people just coming in. We did reserve the crabs in advance though. If you have friends or family visiting from out of town and you want them to get a taste of Maryland then this is definitely a great place to take them.

We had the crabs they were good. World go back for sure. Great company to eat them with. Next time will try a few more dishes from the menu. We had the shrimp platter and the trio fish sub. Nice restaurant

We were looking for a place that had a good selection of food while in the Timonium/Towson area. Luckily, we found Ocean Pride.
They had a great selection of different foods even if you don’t want seafood (Which is a waste, as their seafood is freaking fantastic.)
Highly suggest the Triple Crab Sampler for those looking for a blue crab fix, but not wanting to get messy. It comes with crab imperial…which was a crabby casserole, a good size crab cake with lump meat (not the little flipper legs garbage cakes some serve), and a pile of lump meat.
The mac and cheese is gooey and creamy like it should be. Burgers were awesome, especially with the fresh cut Old Bay chips.
If you are looking for uppity ambiance, I probably wouldn’t choose here….but if i could, I would come back every day of the week for great food at decent prices.

Being a Timonium staple forever, this was our first experience since living here from the 70s. Upon entry… The parking lot can be a bit challenging if you are in a large vehicle. Once inside we noticed that the bar area, was extremely busy! The restaurant side, not so much. When we arrived, we went & spoke to Kim about the bar area. We noticed that the bar area was much more lively & we wanted to sit in that area. It was 1st come first served in the bar area & were lucked out with a high top. We had made reservations prior & reserved crabs with the reservation (which was recommended by the hosts). We noticed that the bar area was a bit more “up to date” then the dining room area. But both areas seemed a little dated. We decided on a few appetizers. The clams casino & 6 raw Oysters. The clams casino were awesome! The clams casino were very savory & had great depth of flavor, that wanted me to order more! There butter was spot on! I used the butter from the clams casino with the steamed crabs, The oysters were fresh & delicious. We reserved 18 large crabs and they were well seasoned, steamed perfectly & extremely delicious!! Thank God for Maryland blue crabs! Kim, Deante & the other 2 bartenders worked the entire room together, and did one hell of a job doing it!! Thank you so much for a great experience!!

Well… we arrived assuming they would serve clam chowder because how can a seafood place not serve clam chowder.
Queue severe disappointment..they do not serve it. Ok not really a big deal. I suppose.
Friend at the table ordered Ribeye due to mild seafood allergy. Medium rare.
No one ever returned to see that they delivered a well-done steak. Which is $46 here and about a centimeter thick. (See attached picture) We waited indefinitely for a server to return so we can bring it back to the kitchen.
Which means no one returned to fill my personal drink.
After 45 minutes of everyone around us getting taken care of. We stood up and found a server and asked for our bill so we could leave.
In reference to atmosphere. Almost all of the tables are of different heights and wobbly. The place looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s. Paper towel rolls were all stained with food stuff from whoever used them before.
The crabs were great!
But we will not come back.
