We try to visit at least once each summer. It never disappoints. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Food is reasonable and tasty. Don’t forget to have some ice cream for dessert. Great variety. Who does raspberry lime Ricky anymore? So enjoyable.

So cute! Great service, food was super yummy, and the atmosphere was lovely.
Its a simple menu of varied sandwiches and chips or fries but all of the food was delicious. We sat outside on the front patio and it was nice to watch the people go by.
Can not wait to go back for ice cream!!

Such a cute little spot! We drove by at night and the line for ice cream was pretty long. We went back the next day for breakfast and it was really good. I had a ham, egg, and cheese on a English muffin with home fries. The staff seemed super sweet and friendly. They had a giftshop attached with all kinds of goodies.

An institution in Ocean Park featuring a classic atmosphere and good ice cream during the summer months. I haven’t personally had the breakfast/lunch offerings but it seems popular! This is one of those places that can easily become a family tradition to visit as I know it is one for mine.

Super busy spot with Gifford’s ice cream. No soft serve. Cute area if you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of OOB

I tried the breakfast sandwich for the first time. There was a hair in it! Gross. They made me another one and it was really good. However, not one person apologized to me. The employees were too busy discussing their paychecks. I asked for a cup of ice 3 times and finally I got it. When my second sandwich was done the employee just handed it to me without taking a breath from the conversation she was having about some boy she knew who liked a girl she knew. I left rather frustrated.

My family and I went for ice cream yesterday evening. Everyone ordered 1-2 scoops of ice cream. I ordered 2 scoops and my uncle next to me ordered 2 also. When I received mine, it looked clear to me and the five others in our group that what I received was clearly one scoop. When I asked the young blonde woman who’s apparently the owners daughter if it was correct, she said yes. My conclusion is, she didn’t like the way I looked! Handsome, tanned muscular!

Downhill alert! I have adored this place for many years. Our first visit in 2023, however, was deeply disappointing. They were not carrying signature flavors like Fool’s Gold and the all important Mint Explosion; the prices for ice cream border on insane. $5.99 for a small cone? And the smalls were super small! And the worst part? The ice cream wasn’t at all up to prior standards. The Dirty Water had no swirls of fudge or cookie pieces…is this still even Blake’s Ice Cream? It tasted fine, but absolutely nothing special. I know ownership recently changed, and I know this is only one visit. But the magic just might be gone.
