Yesterday, we decided to dine in at this place for the second time. Surprisingly, it was quite crowded for a Monday, which showed that they’re doing good business. Our main focus was to have a combo with Dungeness crab, as that’s what we were craving. We also couldn’t resist trying their steamed oysters with garlic butter seasoning. Gotta say, they really use top-notch seafood products here. The crabmeat was fantastic, all in big chunks, no mushiness whatsoever. But the real star of the show was the Garlic Butter Seasoning. It added so much flavor to everything, making it a delightful experience from the very first bite till we scraped the last drop of that amazing sauce!

There’s a minimum of one pound of crab legs per person but their menu doesn’t make this clear. Why even put half pound options if it’s not the minimum allowed? Their steamed oysters are on point and seasoned well. Staff were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great but the only complaint was the pricey crab legs combo with barely any meat on them. They were very thin.

Unreal! At first you walk in and it’s very open , plenty of space and tables. The staff are a true team and they flow like a well oiled machine. We got there around 3-4pm, we’re offered table or booth and we chose the booth. Menus were given and drink order taken. We were very excited to be there since we’ve seen advertising for this place and I even read reviews on it through You Tube. It’s exactly what they say it is, excellent! Staff came back with drinks and we placed our orders. It’s $59.99 each person no matter if you eat seafood or not like one in our party. He only ate the “fried” portion of all you can eat, ex fried wings, mozzarella sticks, hush puppies, crab cakes ect etc. You can choose your 3 meats with your fried menu…we ordered crab legs, shrimp and mussels. The mussels were plenty and the shrimp were nice and clean generous size and the legs, well…super good! There are spices you can add to your food, we had the spicy butter garlic marinate on the seafood platter which by the way cane with potatoes corn and sausage, so nice and flavorful. Honestly, we could only do 2 trays, we were so satisfied. The staff came around often to ask if we needed anything since there is a 90 min limit of how much time you’ve got to eat. So bring your hunger, roll your sleeves back and dig in. I appreciated the sink wall to wash my hands at. I highly recommend!

A friend told me to go to this place since she knows I love seafood. My husband and I went and we loved it. We ate so much! We got the all you can eat option and you get to choose what you want them to add to your seafood boil. The only downside for me was that you get charged for whatever you don’t eat. I’m planning on going again very soon!

The place was nice. It would be nice if they had windows, its a little dark in there but thats okay. Lots of space between tables so you don’t feel too close to whoever sits by you. There was plenty of food options. I got the AYCE and it was a large serving. The seasoning and sauces were good for the seafood boil and the sides ordered. Enjoyed the experience overall. I had gotten there as soon as they opened so my food tasted fresh. Can’t complain about price as it is seafood and in Chantilly.

Fist time at the Ocean Crab. Excellent seafood, good service and great atmosphere. The host should allow customers to get a table before asking what kind of service they want. Especially for first time customers. Other than that it was a great experience. Nice portions.

Bright restaurant, pretty atmosphere, great food and service. My boyfriend and I went last night as another resutuant “didn’t know” their oil or what was in their food. Ocean crab was immediately accommodating. They listened and was able to provide assurance. Our waitress (Alyassa?) was AMAZING. Super helpful, our trays were never empty and our drinks were always full. We had to switch tables mid way because I need back surgery and the chair I was in wasn’t supportive. She happily moved us to a booth that was more comfortable for my back. She even helped move all of the food and supplies. The food was great, my mouth is watering just remembering it. The only thing that we were not a fan of was the corn on the cob. The seafood (the important part) was so good. We will definitely be back. Definitely a great deal for AYCE (which includes a soft drink!)

My family got the Jumbo Pack and it was more than enough food for the three of us, perfect for four. The seafood was all seasoned well and tasty. The shrimp was easy to peel and the crab was juicy. The spicy sauce just made it better. Worth the money .

We went on a Tuesday around lunch time and we got seated pretty quickly as there was only one other party there. We ordered the all you can eat Seafood Boil with the mix all seasoning and starter of fried calamari, catfish, and shrimp. The boil came out in 5 minutes and was very oily and the seafood was not fresh. We asked for no potatoes or sausages and they were still brought with platter and did not look good either. The corn was old and tasted bad. The starter plate came while we were half way through seafood boil platter and the fried items were all mushy and we didn’t even eat it. The second time we asked for dry cajun rub and this took longer to come out. The seafood was hot when it came out and tasted fresh and much better than first platter. We paid about $150+ and would probably not be back as we did not enjoy our experience there.
