Service is terrible and unprofessional. Food is slow. If you perhaps tip them upfront they may provide better service.

I would recommend going there for the view and the leaving for a real restaurant.

Really delicious food. They must have very good chef here. The food is for example much better than in ULU restaurant in Four seasons. Service is excellent and fast. Evening music is sometimes of a very good quality. Sometimes less excellent, but they try to offer very romantic and exquisite experience on the lovely seashore in this club. The only drawback has been that they do not make any coffee here which I believe is not only a pitty, but also a mistake from a bussiness perspective. And they close at 8 pm so you cannot enjoy more of their excellent coctails.

Great food, great drinks wonderful surfers. The bartenders are always fun and the views from the table are beautiful.

Below is a picture of our family faces are covered. But you can see it’s a very nice indoor restaurant.

Great sun set view. Limited menu, but what they have is delicious. The fish and chips were delicious.

We have seriously mixed feelings on this place. It’s a private club just for this vacation home area, so keep in mind it’s not just open to the public and should therefore have a more welcoming atmosphere for this small community, right? Nope. The pool is lovely, it’s a great size and shape for making each area feel secluded. The views are perfect with the sunset over the ocean bordering the club. The fitness center is small but nice and faces the amazing views. The food tastes good and the bar makes great drinks…BUT the manager/waitstaff at the club are very unpleasant and their attitudes are dictatorial for no reason. First, there are lots of tables in the upper part of the club, and some lounge chairs around the pool as well as a gazebo with chairs. While the tables aren’t marked for “restaurant use only”, you have to order to sit at them, even when there are tons available. That wasn’t really an issue for us, because we were happy to order drinks and appetizers during our afternoon visits. You can’t bring any drinks in, even a bottle of water, to have by the pool, you can only order from them, but they don’t provide service to the lounge chair area – you have to go up to the bar for that. The lead waitress acts like she has to hurry you out after you’ve ordered and received your food/drinks, and is pushy and rude. They rush you, even when there are LOTS of empty tables, unless you’re one of their clear favorites, in which case you can sit for hours without running up a tab. Or the manager, Duane, who likes to hold court in the evenings with a group of friends before he does a sunset conch-shell ceremony that he has appropriated from the local culture – seriously Hilton – was there not a single staff member of Polynesian descent who could have been tasked with that? You gave the old white guy a leaf crown and shell and said go for it and here are some rude staff members to shush everyone while you do.

And while the pool and club are supposed to be family friendly, but they act like all children are messy monsters. We were repeatedly reminded to keep the kids swim stuff out of the pathway, despite being the only occupied table in the section, and not having any swim stuff in the walkway – it was all stacked under our table. Our kids weren’t noisy or messy, but you’d think they were climbing the walls with how one of the waitresses looked at them. But again, one of the favorites had kids bouncing all over and that was okay, she even brought them crayons and coloring sheets, which weren’t offered to us when we were seated.

The rules for the club/pool are legitimately longer than the rules for the 3 bedroom house we were staying in and there is just no reason for the level of control exerted. It made the club visits unpleasant when they should have been lovely. The rest of the resort isn’t being run this way.

Great experience and amazing staff that has been a part of the community grounds for many years. It is always great to see the familiar faces and enjoy the great food options.

A great place to dine at if you are nearby or living at the Halii kai resort. This place has one of the freshest and most flavorful poke fish tacos that I have come across in Hawaii. The bar and grill is located directly next to the pool and gym and also beside the coast so if you want to sit back, relax and grab a bite without having to worry about the kids, this would be the perfect location. The menu and drinks menu is quite extensive, covering a range of vegetarian and non vegetarian options.

The pool is warm and 4′ at the deepest part, so great for adults who want to be lazy and kids to have a blast, as long as they don’t run into the lava rock walls. Strong Mai Tais are a great value at happy hour. Staff was pleasant enough. Sunset view is spectacular.
