We always visit Ocean Bleu whenever we’re in the area, because their clam chowder is WAY better than Moe’s! Moe’s is way too thick and grainy, where Gino’s is creamy and the perfect texture , every time.
Highly recommend ordering the chowder with a side of sourdough bread and some Chalula for adding a pop of flavor to the occasional bite.
Food always arrives super fast and is nice and hot!
Decor is interesting and fun with boat tackle and hand blown glass lighting.
Our only note…the tables might need refinishing soon, they’re a little sticky. Humidity and all that.

Food – Ocean Blue knocks it out of the park when it comes to freshness, taste, and presentation! I had the grilled rock bass plate and it was perfect. The seasoning was spot on—not overdone at all—and the meat was tender enough to fall right apart.
Service – We brought a party of 12 in just an hour before closing, and the staff didn’t even break a sweat. They made sure we had a relaxing time and even had some great friendly banter about how they were going to get us served quickly. Truly an awesome team!
Atmosphere – The atmosphere at Gino’s is impeccable—organized, clean, and courteous. It strikes a perfect balance between being a relaxing, homelike environment and an authentic seafood spot, complete with the fresh scent of salt in the air. Thank you for such a welcoming experience.

This a super casual seafood place. I had oysters and chips, pan fried. Clam Chowder is super thick, not my favorite. The fish stew was a little overcooked and didn’t like bell peppers in the soup.

This is a little gem along the waterfront. The Clam Linguini was surprisingly delicious and unique with a tasty butter and wine sauce with all the right spices and flavors. The Shrimp Melt Sandy was great too and the chips (fries) were a fun cut and perfectly cooked. The service and ambience were perfect. Thank you!

When I think of clam chowder on the coast, I think of Gino’s! The Oceanside decor, waves crashing in the distance, and a clam chowder you’ll never forget… I’ll dream of this place until I make it back to the west coast to stop over again. Order everything, but do not forget the chowder. We made it to the Seattle market a week later for the world’s best clam chowder and it had NOTHING on Gino’s chowder. Sit outside if you can!

Very casual place but excellent food. Service from Jorge is excellent as well; very friendly, polite n comfortable feelings (not overly). We ate at Local Ocean the day before then come here, the dishes we got is better quality n taste then Local Ocean. At LO, we had crab cakes, fish n chips, grilled tuna berry salad. Crab cakes were no crab taste n lots of flour. At Gino, we got grilled shrimp/peach salad; bacon hazelnut crust snapper w rice pilaf. n popcorn shrimp. Popcorn shrimp batter was very light! Crusted snapper has bacon n roasted garlic n rice pilaf is so good. We checked n its organic wild rice blend $4.99 per lb. Unbelievable that chef would serve this quality rice for years. A must return place for us. Creative dishes w quality n value!

After a disappointing experience elsewhere, Ocean Bleu completely turned our lunch around.
The staff greeted us immediately and seated us right away. Drinks were at our table within a minute.
They were incredibly kind and even gave us local recommendations since we just moved to the area. It felt welcoming. We appreciated it sm.
The food and overall experience were excellent but the service is what stood out most.
We will absolutely be back.

This is a great fish shack. All of our dishes were excellent. Rock fish sandwich, Crab cake, Fish and chips salmon, steamed clams and lastly chowder. All dishes were plated well and the Gino fries are terrific. Gino fries are a lot different from normal fries . Kind of potato chip style but from small potatoes with skin on. Best fries I have ever consumed.

This was the best seafood I’ve ever had on the East Coast! Although we arrived at 8 PM, just 30 minutes before closing time, we were greeted with open arms. The service was exceptional, and everyone was very friendly! Our food arrived quickly and was incredibly fresh.
We ordered the coconut prawns, which were juicy and fresh—truly the best I’ve ever tasted! The coconut crust was crunchy and delicious, and the red curry dip and mango salsa complemented the dish perfectly. The smoked platter was full of flavor, allowing us to mix and match different tastes. The local oysters were impressively clean and fresh; kudos to the shucker for opening them without any bits of shell!
The ghost ale was delightful, with a fruity note that I highly recommend. I would absolutely come back here and encourage everyone to check this place out!

Food was delicious! My husband had the Albacore Tuna (sesame encrusted teriyaki and locally sourced) and he ate the plate clean! I had the blackened salmon sandwich and it was also delicious! Everything was super fresh and made from scratch, including the fries which were perfect!
