Food was amazing, we had vegetable, chicken and lamb dishes all were perfect, great quality and lovely staff, has been done up on the inside. We went as a family of 6 and everyone’s meals were delicious! The atmosphere wasn’t that good as it wasn’t very busy but as a community we really need to start going to this Indian again as it is great with the newest owner that runs it now. Also have takeaways from here and they are jusy as good! Please give it a go before going to a different Indian! we need to support our local businesses and especially ones that are great

Ordered a set menu for two. I was satisfied with the overall food quality but the delivery should have been more carefully made. As you can see from the photos, one of the curries leaked and got everywhere so some of it was wasted and left stain on my tablemats. All the fuss caused for cleaning and wiping was not the best experience when you wanted convenience from ordering takeaways.
Delivery time: Spot on. I was impressed it was delivered as expected, unlike my previous experiences with other takeaway restaurants.
Food: Substantial & mostly good
Pilau rice & egg rice: lovely, freshly done.
Mixed kebab: didn’t like the lamb kebab very dry and a bit smelly
Onion bhajis: 2 were okay, 1 was extremely greasy and burnt
Poppadoms: smashed into small pieces tastes the same but you don’t want to eat poppadoms with your spoon
Chutneys: standard quality 4 pots with some salads
Garlic naan: I love my naan and this one was unusually doughy. It looks well-cooked from its look so I don’t know what was wrong.
Saag aloo: nice and fresh
Chicken tikka massala: Unsure they make their own as this was exactly the same taste and appearance as the one I ordered from another takeaway a while ago. As far as I know this did not look or taste like tikka massala, more like Korma with red colouring. Very sweet coconut taste.
Lamb jalfrezi: delicious with a kick from fresh chillies which was my favourite. However, the lamb wasn’t cooked long enough so still quite chewy.

Ordered on Just Eat and the food is usually beautiful – it’s my go to Indian.
However, on this occasion, the food arrived and lack of sauce and chicken left my mouth feeling both dry and disappointed.
To pay £10.00+ to receive 4 pieces of chicken and little to no sauce, has left me rather sad, as they’re usually amazing.
I hope they sort it out and make the Rogan Josh much saucier, full of that rich tomato base and add more chicken pieces next time ☺️

Be careful with place had to go back because food didn’t taste right , they gave me another one however it didn’t taste much better. Clearly not checking the food . Definitely going down hill. If you order from here I would taste it before dishing it out and be very careful.

Arrived for the Sunday buffet and it was absolutely fabulous! Chicken wings were delicious and the biryani was one of the nicest I’ve had! Great selection of different curries and sides. The staff were very attentive and cobra on tap nothing not to like!

One of the worst Indians I’ve ever had. Went to the Sunday buffet. Barely any choice. All the samosas and spring rolls were frozen, Bombay potatoes were frozen. Everything was horrible The dessert option was a cheesecake clearly from Iceland. Couldn’t stomach more than half a plate. Beer was the nicest thing on the menu.
Atmosphere was awkward. Waiters stood around like body guards staring at you. Only got one plate to eat off so if you didn’t like something you were stuffed.
Asked for a reduced price because of how bad it was and how it made me feel sick got told they only charge by the head and didn’t even get any.
Don’t like to put down a small business and not fussy but this was just awful. Honestly awful I don’t know about the sit down meal but the buffet is genuinely one of the most rancid things I’ve ever had. Night officially ruined.

It’s the first time using the restaurant since new owners have taken over.
We found the place newly decorated and a new carpet.
We had the buffet!
We were given hot plates! These were the only plates we were given so each return journey to the buffet we were not given another plate!
The food was good, especially the starters.
The pudding had not been defrosted thoroughly before the opening so was a little hard to eat.
Over all a better experience than the last time we were here.

We ordered the set meal for 2 on Monday (29/01/24) and had a home delivery. Our order arrived in good time, was piping hot and absolutely delicious. All the people we spoke to were polite and friendly including the delivery driver who presented us our order with a genuine smile. We’ll certainly order again and we’ve decided to treat ourselves to a meal in the restaurant one evening too.
