OC 7 Seafood Restaurant 2: A Taste of Authentic Vietnamese …
Reviews
– The interior design of the restaurant is typical of old-fashioned Vietnamese street food.
– The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating.
– There are many Vietnamese dishes, with a variety of seafood dishes.
– There are many types of drinks to choose from, and they are looking good.
– Friendly service
Cons:
– The air conditioner is on so strong that if you sit right at the vent, it can give you a headache.
– The music is so loud that it’s hard for the family to eat and talk at the same time.
– I’m not comfortable with their restrooms. There are many stalls, but men and women share the same space, which has led to some embarrassing situations.
– The food is relatively good, but some dishes are cold by the time they get to the table.
Not only is the food spectacular, but the prices are crazy affordable for the portions they offer! The menu is exceptionally large and everything that we tried was super tasty! We recommend getting their cơm tấm dishes as well as their squid items
* Mango Cuttlefish Salad: 9/10 – could’ve used more squid but the flavors were delicious
* Crunchy Fried Calamari: 8/10 – crispy but portion was small
* Special Rice Dish with All Toppings: 9/10 – tasty and portion was huge
* Rice Dish with Pork Chop, Pork Skin, and Egg Cake: 9/10 – pork chop was grilled nicely
* Wintermelon Drink w/ Chia Seeds: 10/10 – super refreshing
The interior is also extremely cute and designed to make you feel like you’re in Vietnam. My parents found it to be a smart design choice to offer a lot of booths instead of regular chairs since everyone likes booths more.
The workers were very polite and welcoming which made our visit even more enjoyable. It’s located in a pretty isolated plaza so you should be able to find a parking spot pretty easily.
It was our first time coming here, but we’ll be coming back more often
Things I didn’t like:
– during my visit the restaurant was FREEZING cold
– the music was extremely loud, there were not a lot of people for a Saturday morning so it felt out of place
-Service was quite slow, and the timing for food was poorly managed. In our party of 8, everyone’s orders arrived except for 2, who had to wait an additional 15 minutes after everyone else had been served. This created a very inconvenient experience.
Customer service is okay and not too bad, but it’s hard to catch their attention since they have different areas with a hidden corners. It would be better if they designated the server into a specific area to avoid missing serving clients properly.
Plenty of parking in the front, and we did not have to wait when we arrived without reservations.
Planning to return? Maybe not, since another location has a better quality of the taste of food, so maybe I will stick with the other one. However, this location is more prominent and has authentic decorations that remind you of Vietnam and how the country’s streets look for photos and feel the vibe.
If you do not care about how the food tastes, go to this location instead and can enjoy the view and the food.
The con tam deal was great, it comes with winter melon drink
