We went here for our Valentine’s date last year and I still remember it very fondly.
The restaurant was very full that day (but usually won’t be quite THAT packed, I imagine) but it was still a super fun atmosphere.

I had the Zeera Masala and it is genuinely the best Indian food I’ve had so far. Absolutely recommended.

Second time eating here, the staff are so attentive and take time to explain the menu. The variety of dishes on offer as well means everyone can enjoy a meal as the mains are cooked to order the level of spice can usually be adjusted as well!

The food was delicious, I had a Mehti Gosht and chapati – stunning! Best curry in Glasgow by far!
The team were super helpful and tentative.
Only small negative was that the music was a little too loud but can’t fault the food or team at all.

This is a nice restaurant to grab some good Indian food. The two curries we had were good and well seasoned. The meats (lamb) were nice and tender as well, which made the dishes all that more enjoyable. The garlic na’an was very delicious and was a nice compliment to the curry dishes. The service was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Overall, it was a very good price to quality ratio.

We’ve had Indian food in over 40 countries. This rates among the top 10. Chicken jalfrezi, Rogan Josh, and karahi. Excellent with just the right spice at ‘medium’. The decor and lighting are adorable. It’s the perfect ‘casual spot with some Indian atmosphere’. Service was super friendly and kind. House Sauvignon blanc paired very nicely with the curries. At a time when other Indian restaurants are doing ‘modern takes’ on Indian food it’s nice to have delicious traditional curries!

Obsession of India offers an excellent dining experience with high-quality, authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes were expertly prepared, featuring well-balanced spices and rich flavors that reflect true Indian culinary traditions. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions.

The service was professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the visit. The restaurant maintains a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for both casual dining and special occasions. Pricing is reasonable considering the quality of food and service provided.

Overall, Obsession of India is a highly recommended destination for anyone seeking refined and authentic Indian cuisine. I look forward to returning.

Ordered food online for delivery. After 30 minutes was told it was en route. 1hr30 mins later I called the restaurant for an update, wondering if there had been an issue. They told me it hadn’t left the kitchen yet but would in 10 mins. Another hour passed and still no food so I called again. We live around 15/20 mins from the restaurant. They told me it would arrive in 5/10 mins. When the food eventually arrived – 3hrs later than predicted – the curries and rice were cold, naan soggy, pakora cold and chewy. Okra curry was also very slimy, naintara was tasteless. Really disappointing experience. Have previously loved their food and service so not sure what happened here. It was a Saturday and busy but previous meals there have also been weekends etc. Won’t order again any time soon.

My wife and I discovered Obsession of India (25 High Street, Glasgow) in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and we ended up going three times with both of our families because it was that good. The food is incredible, the flavours are always perfect, and the service is genuinely outstanding.

The wait staff even handled our visiting Americans with total patience and humour — they were absolutely brilliant about it.

We loved it so much we even ordered from here on our wedding night. Absolutely sensational every single time. Highly recommended!

Cheese Naan is to die for – and I nearly did due to lactose intolerance but it was worth it.

I visited Obsession of India with my partner on a Saturday afternoon and we were both delighted with our experience.

The starters were excellent – we both had the gola kebab. These were quite light but tasty and set us up nicely for the main course. The curries were very fresh and high quality! Madras had a lovely kick to it and the Karahi was brilliant aswell, naan was superb and it left us feeling very much satisfied.

Staff were excellent and accommodating during our visit and we’ll definitely be back! One of the best curries I’ve had.
