Don’t judge a book by its cover. We almost turned around and decided to go in for 1 drink. Well then we stayed for more. The servers/bartenders were kind and attentive. The service was fast and plenty of space for large groups.

Burger and fries were excellent. They were light on the cheese for Ruben but the bread was toasted well and the Buffalo bacon chicken sandwich was more bacon flavor than anything else.

A group of us are making the rounds visiting Ashland restaurants and today was O’Bryans turn. Lunch was not busy so we were waited on quickly. There is a wide selection of food (the egg burger and sweet potato fries were favorites)Everyone enjoyed their food. Very good service.

Absolutely the best bar/pub food I’ve ever had! Great service! Always full with family and friends of all ages and the huge TV’s are always going with a variety of sports. You won’t be disappointed.

The service was good, but the food in our group was inconsistent. The guys got the chorizo mushrooms and Thai chili wings and said they were good. I ordered the fish and chips expecting decent, Irish/British pub fish. What came out was glorified fish sticks. They very much seemed like frozen fish fillets that were dropped in the fryer. The chips were ok, the green beans tasted like canned. My friend was not overly impressed with her prime rib sandwich either.

Wow … Great find in Ashland!

Staying next door to this pub, and we decided to grab some dinner here tonight, as it was recommended by the staff at the Surrey motel.

The pub is a bit drab, but has a decent charm to it, there were certainly lots of people here tonight, several large parties as well as smaller groups, so there is no shortage of customers.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and without hesitation did a couple of omissions and changes to our food choices. The food arrived rather quickly, hot and nicely presented.

The spicy garlic wings were surprisingly “hot”, but oh so good. The Texas tenderloin sandwich was perfectly cooked, crispy on outside yet moist on inside. The chicken-finger salad, not only looked great, it was delicious .The ceasar was blah, the only mediocre item that we ordered.

The place is a bit noisy, but that means that all the people there were enjoying themselves.

We’ll definitely be back, on our next return visit to Ashland.

Nice place for a quick drink. Unfortunately my wings where under cooked and my French onion soup was watery. Maybe next time will be better.

This was a very “meh” experience today. I ordered a philly cheesesteak and loaded fries. Sadly, the fries came as plain. It’s always disappointing when your order isn’t fixed properly.

The food itself though, was even more disappointing. The philly cheesesteak was lackluster at best. The steak had very little flavor. It didn’t seem like it was seasoned at all.

There was a distinct lack of cheese. I’m used to philly cheesesteaks being melted cheesy gloriousness. There was hardly any cheese on this at all. The one thing about the sammich that was a positive was the bread. It was toasted nicely.

Fries were good, but I ordered loaded and got regular. So even though they were good, they weren’t correct.

All in all, real disappointing experience. Can’t see any reason to go back.
