Absolutely blown away by Obon. This place was the perfect end to our evening. The ramen was fire—ridiculously good, rich, and comforting in the best way. The pork bun appetizer and edamame were next-level and disappeared way too fast.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the people. The GM, Josh, treated us like family, and our server Lee was the kindest, most genuine soul—attentive, warm, and spot-on with drink recommendations (order the tiger’s blood, top notch!). Even late in the evening, the service never felt rushed and the hospitality was exceptional.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had while traveling. We’ll be dreaming about that ramen and can’t wait to come back!

The ramen was phenomenal. A lil bit spicy for my taste, but not enough to remotely stop me. While the prices were worth it, they were just a lil high. Especially for add-ons. But the quality was there. It’s been way too long since I had ramen this good. Definitely a place to treat yourself.

Service was not good from the start. We were sat for about 20 mins while waiters walked past and we were never helped. Waiter finally came and they gave us two free appetizers for the wait time, which was nice, but it just kept going downhill. When you sit they don’t give you the extended sushi menu, you just have to ask what they have. They do not make you aware of prices. 20$ for 4 pieces of basic and mediocre nigiri. Food took a little bit to come out after ordering, and part of the dishes were wrong. He already set it at our table and came back and took it away. Then decided to go put in the correct order. It then also took a long time to get the bill and the waiter could not figure out the Apple Pay. It was just getting ridiculous at that point and we wanted to leave. Food was not terrible, but not worth the drive and the horrid service. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy at the time and multiple servers were working.

Beautiful restaurant, atmosphere and we had a great server. My only complaint that I kind of see a trend with is the smaller than normal sushi rolls. You guys should make the rolls a lot bigger and add a few pieces to justify the prices. Other sushi places have cheaper rolls bigger quantities and more flavor. Spicy tuna could be hotter. Only complaint, especially for the prices. Keep prices in mind too. We ordered x2 ramen, a fried rice, x2 sushi rolls, and x2 pork baos. Plus x2 soft drinks and a large sake and beer. We were at $122 without tip. Highly recommend the pork baos. Those stole the show!! 3 stars for the price and small sushi rolls. But good food for sure.

I’ve been coming here for some time I love the food and the ambiance but What has stand out the most recently is the service. I want to shout out LEE the server with the dimple piercings, she is always calm, attentive and efficient. I ve seen her juggle all of the tables at once and preform flawlessly. GIVE HER A RAISE. I love her work ethic her personality as she is very charismatic and kind. She is a very fun and enjoyable person to have around and especially as our server. She always makes mine and my Wife’s day. My kids always leave with big smiles on face on the ride back home whenever they tag along.
The only complaint I would have is the foods price $$ and the proportions do not make sense. You would think for that price the food would have bluetooth incrusted. I think I would have to spend over 200$ to get truly full because I like to eat. The flavor is ok sometimes great but most times ok. Especially the sushi always just ok. To sum it all up y’all need better sushi chefs and bigger proportions.
Oh And the staff in the back crack a lot of unappealing distasteful misogynistic and some racist jokes and comments, to the point where it nearly ruined my wife’s appetite one time. The jokes aren’t funny and need to stop Immediately.

First time here and it was great. The atmosphere is loud and vibrant. It’s got a neighborhood vibe like I could take my kids here or go on a date. The food is delicious and the staff are all very nice and attentive. Highlights: pineapple sake- pretty fantastic, eating your way through the happy hour sushi menu, those chicken wings- I’m not sure what’s on them but I definitely need more. Will definitely be back.

Very yummy and nice sushi restaurant in Scottsdale. I just came here accidentally but everything was wonderful. I extremely love Salmon Sashimi here, they were so fresh and Miso soup also a good choice. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, perfect. You can pick the table outside too. The location is quite far from my home but I do not mind 🙂 In general, highly recommended

By far my favorite sushi and ramen bar in Scottsdale. The restaurant is large, fun, and modern. The vibe is always fun and comfortable. The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We always feel amongst friends when dining. The drink menu is very creative and features unique and fun cocktails. The food menu is extensive and delicious. The apps, entrees, ramen bowls, and small plates are all delicious. Highly recommend animal fries, Obon edamame, and the steambuns for starters. The teriyaki dish and pork ramen are both fantastic. Overall one of the best dinner spots in Scottsdale. Happy hour is also very good and worth checking out. Great place for a date nite or family dinner.
