Alex was our server and he was phenomenal. The food was beyond expectation in quality and generous portions. Dont pass up the pork belly hot app. Plenty for 2 ppl. My tuna poke bowl and hubby’s yellotail kama were top notch choices. OBON was a stellar choice.

Kids love ramen. I was looking for a place with vegetarian and kids options and this place had both. The death free bowl was really excellent. This was a bit fancy but close to the train park and there was a parking garage near by. The restaurant looked interesting and the kids also liked that. Food was very good and cocktails looked excellent.

Ambiance is great, clean and modern. Food is savory. We brag about the ramen to family and friends. Made the mistake of getting fried rice and it was so salty tonight, as salty as the sea and more. Server was lovely and corrected issue. Sushi was fantastic. Great place to go for the RAMEN! I think it’s a winner with their white mushroom broth.

I ordered some ramen on Uber Eats, the soup was spilled everywhere in the bag, which could be a result of the delivery.. but as I’m eating it, instead of a cooked egg.. there’s a whole uncooked egg. Shell and everything. I cracked it open to double check. Absolutely crazy.

Food was okay, I waited 20 minutes for my ramen and my gyoza. My gyoza was cold when I got it, and my noodles were soggy. Almost as if my food was sitting there for a little bit. Service was good, nice hostess, but other than that, food was a huge letdown.

Service and ambiance where great and thus the 3 stars but the food….they tried to make up for low grade fish with extra large pieces that made it worse because they were hard to eat. The tuna crispy rice was bland and the rice itself was hard and had clearly been fried earlier in the day. Would not recommend.

I had lunch with my mom at Obon in Scottsdale and it was a really nice experience. We shared the pineapple house sake, a poke bowl, and the street noodles, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The space was comfortable and relaxed, and the service was friendly without being rushed. It made for an easy and enjoyable lunch spot that I’d be glad to visit again.

Obon has been our FAVORITE restaurant to go to at the Quarter for the last 2 years. So during my last visit when I saw the bartender, serving Ginger and Wasabi from right under the bar/water pipes, I was extremely disgusted. Food should not be store underneath such a filthy place. You can visibly see how much dust/dirt/oil has built up on the pipes and how it’s just hanging over the items being served to customers. I’ve never seen anything like this before. As someone who works at the Quarter regularly, this is something I have warned my co-workers at the store about since going and really hope you all fix the issue. Your customers deserve better.

He offered helpful menu recommendations, and made sure everything arrived promptly and exactly as ordered. His warm attitude and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Austin again!

Every piece was crafted with precision, from the buttery rolls to the perfectly balanced nigiri. The rice was seasoned just right, and you could tell the chefs care deeply about their craft.
