This used to be my favorite place for soft serve ice cream. Used to be the case where I can see WHO and WHEN it was cleaned on the machine. And tasted good. From the front counter, it was easy to see. But now there is no name or date for cleaning. And the soft serve tastes like MUSTY from a damp closet. Staff doesn’t know when the last time it was cleaned. Where are the adults? I feel like I’m consuming MOLD and BACTERIA. Consider this your warning, I will be contacting the health department first thing tomorrow morning. You’re gonna kill someone.

I have been here many times. I would say this is best branch of all Oberwise stores in the suburbs area. The vanilla Sunday is one of the best here. If you are a diary lover I highly recommend trying the Oberwise Whole milk can.

This is my family’s favorite Oberweis location. The quality of the ice cream is the same (equally high) as other Oberweis locations, but this one is situated right by a little park with a pond that’s great to stroll around. A great summer-night hangout for a family.

I feel a bit guilty when I go to this Oberweis because I usually go after I visit Advanced Dentistry in the same shopping center. Shhhh, don’t tell Dr Wylde or Dr Klemma. I always enjoy my chocolate shake, except for the price. When Vincent Vega complained about a $5 shake in the movie Pulp Fiction, he would probably freak out at the (approximately) $9 I pay for my large shake at this location. But, I love it too much too resist. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The inside is clean and well kept. The outside has pretty cool seating options and there is a nice lake with a walking path next to the restaurant. Yes, it’s expensive but I will continue to visit this Oberweis because I am addicted to their chocolate shakes. Oh, and how exactly do you pronounce “Oberweis”???

Walking into this place, I love the ice cream parlor feel. It has cases to purchase milk and dairy goods, as well as maple syrup and cheese and meat trays. It even has tables with chess sets out, in case you want to get a game while you wait for your order, or while you eat. The detail is adorable down to the cows stickers on the windows. I had a “frost bite” similar to a DQ Blizzard and it had heaps of Heath Bar! My husband had a Banana Royale with two bananas, vanilla ice cream with pineapple topping, chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce, strawberry ice cream topped with strawberries, and whip cream on top of that. The attention to detail is remarkable. I look forward to returning!

This ice cream shop is a total gem! The flavors are creative, rich, and super fresh. I tried their brownie ice-cream and strawberry ice-cream and both were out of this world. The texture was perfectly creamy, not too sweet — just right. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient while we sampled a few options. The atmosphere was fun and cozy, perfect for families or a casual hangout. Definitely my new go-to spot for a sweet treat. Highly recommend!

This is probably some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! They produce their own milk, have a milk delivery service, and of course…they make their own ice cream. Too bad they don’t deliver their ice cream along with their milk, but I guess we can’t have everything 😉

Delicious ice cream. Kids love getting balloons here too. I was a little disappointed that my ice cream melted so quickly but the waffle combine was fresh and tasty. It was very crowded when we arrived but the line went super quick and we got our ice cream so fast!
