If happiness had a flavor, it would be banana chocolate chip from Oberweis. I came in for “just a scoop” and left questioning every ice cream choice I’ve ever made before this moment. The bananas are legit, the chocolate chips are generous, and the balance is basically ice-cream wizardry.

Also, bonus entertainment: the manager appears to be DEEPLY passionate about her craft. I witnessed her enthusiastically correcting someone (yelling? motivating? unclear), then immediately hugging a customer like they were a long-lost family member. Honestly, that’s the kind of emotional range I want from someone guarding this level of ice cream excellence.

Great ice cream, great energy, unforgettable banana chocolate chip. I’ll be back — probably too often.

Stinken expensive for watered down hot chocolate and a scoop of ice cream. I would not recommend this place. It also took over ten minutes to get our ice cream.

Banana split was made with brown bananas. Not my favorite. But for $10 it should have been a bit better.
