Stopped in this afternoon with my daughter to grab a scoop. After a couple of bites she discovered a long brown hair in her ice cream. Gross. I get it it happens. They replaced it with a hairless scoop. So as we are sitting there, a group of boys come in and attempt to get a Dixie cup of water from the water dispenser, when a tattooed faced worker approached them from behind the counter grabbed the remaining cups and put them behind the counter and stated quite loudly to them “It’s a free country, not free water”. The boys looked dumbfounded, looked at each other and most of them left and went and sat outside without buying anything. One kid stayed behind and ordered something. Clearly they weren’t welcome in there or at least that’s how I took it. In my opinion, that’s no way to run a business. It put me off, I won’t be returning. If the hair wasn’t bad enough the treatment those kids got was. And I’m surprised that the face of Oberweis is covered in tattoos. Classy

When I’ve been in this neighborhood, I have noticed crowds of kids roaming around this ice cream cafe. Even though I’m not a big fan of ice cream I’ve decided to try it. I wasn’t disappointed. Ice Cream very fresh and have strong milk flavor – it is delicious and not too sweet. And smoozy was with plenty of fruit- not crashed ice with syrup.

This location has been pretty good every time I’ve gone. The employees are mostly high schoolers so I’ve had some experiences when they don’t know what I want but besides that only positive things to say. I would recommend this location and will most definitely be going back.

Ofcourse ice-cream was excellent but place was very messy and dirty inside. There were few kids (high school) spilled water on the Floor at order place but they least bothered to clean it.. And few kids (big kid’s) drank water directly by putting their mouth to the cold water jar and we requested them to replace it and there was no proper response… Even after requesting multiple times, they have not changed cold water jar and didn’t even stopped others from drinking it. Very un-hygenic place for kids. I do not recommend taking kids to this place and suggest to take-out rather than dine-in.

It was my 1st time and it won’t be the last. Wow what a great experience. There were 3 young men who helped us with our questions and waited on us. They were so helpful, friendly professional and so sweet to me and my friend. I had the molten lava sundae, recommended and oh my goodness it was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time, my friend had the hot fudge sundae , also yummy. Go enjoy a delicious sweet treat and great service.

Always had a good time at this Oberweis never had any issues. Went today and all the employees were great. Even manager was joking with us. One of my friends asked for a balloon and they told us no. No issues until man came out yelled at us and kicked us out. Still confused why he did this. We weren’t causing problems and had bought 7+ items. Not going back.
