Haven’t been here for years and I remember it being so good! Walked on a friday night and there was no line. They let me try different flavors of ice cream and I ended up getting a cookie dough Sunday.
I liked the ice cream but it was a little underwhelming. Not what I remember. The hot fudge quickly melted the ice cream so I kid of had to eat it fast..
The inside was fairly empty and cold but they also had tables with chess boards but no chess pieces which would have been nice to play. The table I sat at had not been whipped down which was kind of gross but I cleaned it before I sat down.
Over all not really worth the trip..

Went there to get my free scoop of ice cream for my birthday. The lady in drive thru was very nice. She also let me know that I have more rewards that I didn’t know of.

The bathrooms could be a lot clearer unfortunately it smelled of urine and there was pee in the toilets.. also the seats were old and ratty. If a restaurant can’t keep the bathrooms clean, why would they keep the kitchens clean? I brought my kiddo in to use the bathroom and wanted to get some ice cream after but because of that we left instead. I’ve been to other locations and had good experiences but unfortunately this one was not. If it was just one staff member working I could see the bathroom being dirty but there were three staff members.

Oberweis has always been a local favorite of ours for years. There is always plenty of seating, and counters are maintained cleanly without any sticky ice cream residue. I always think their flavor specials (usually involve some sort of fruit in the name) have the best taste compared to the traditional flavors, which run on the heavily sweet side. We thought portion sizes were accurate. Only qualm is that it’s kind of a “blind order” shop where the ice cream is not behind a transparent counter for you to browse. Of course you can ask to try certain flavors, but you definitely can’t just browse by “what they look like” so you do have to rely on reading the menu. In my opinion the menu is a bit small to read in person and you do have to squint quite a bit. I’d recommend just pulling up the menu on your phone if you’re a bit visually challenged like me, though their FYI online menu only has their classic flavors listed 🙂 Service is great and staff brought our order right to our table in a short amount of time.

Ice cream is awesome my kids love it! However the staff not quite, I walked in waited right in front of the register the girls didn’t acknowledge me. I waited 10 minutes before one of the girls came to take my order which is very disrespectful because most people have some sort of greeting (“sorry for the wait” )or a simple (“hello” )but she was just silent so I then just looked at her and gave her my order.
They don’t seem to care I watched them doing it to everyone.
They were too busy talking about what they were bringing to the party this was the entire staff that night which I’m sure was about 5 or 6 young ladies I counted.

This is honestly one of the best customer service I have ever experienced. When it was time for me to order, I was so hesitant and nervous since it was my first time ordering at this place. But this girl named “Shiela”/“Sheila” helped me out so much, it honestly motivated me to go there more. I go every Sunday after work and she’s always greeting me with a positive attitude. She was very patient/ polite. I’m going again tomorrow with my friends and hopefully they enjoy their ice cream the same way I do :))

Visited from out of town with my mom and let me tell you .. this ice cream had me googling dairy farms near me!! I’ve decided I’m just going to find a way back for some more you taste the freshness and love in each scoop!

This place is incredibly disappointing and over rated. In the event that you are undecided about where to satisfy your craving for ice cream, I would recommend visiting Cold Stone Creamery instead. You won’t be wasting your time there. I personally ordered two scoops in a waffle bowl, but I could barely see any ice cream in it. It’s honestly so minimal that I could easily replicate the same at home. Hey, when you order a bowl, you’re thinking full-sized, not some miniature version! To make matters worse, the bathrooms were unacceptably filthy.
