Food was good: well seasoned, meat was tender, fresh. The pita and olive oil was complimentary and was warm when it came to the table. We had the fried calamari, mixed grill entree (the rice that came with the entree was very good), and sampler cold appetizers (not listed on the menu, so ask the waiter). Staff were nice and attentive.

This is New Turkish restaurant in South Jersey. I’m leaving this review for everyone who wants to enjoy really good Turkish Food. Also for my friends who always ask me for good Turkish food. We went to Oba on a Saturday Night without a reservation. We were 9 hungry people. It was also my Son’s birthday celebration. We had to wait because they were no tables. We did wait a long time and I was kinda mad. However the owner and the staff was very polite and helpful. They really earned my respect. Well the food was beyond my expectation and soon I forgot about the wait. I had the mix platter it had little bit of every meat and all of them were delicious. Well seasoned, well cooked. The salads were excellent both the shepherd’s salad and the green salad that came with my platter. Their portions are huge and the service was very fast. I don’t remember our waiters name but tall dark hair guy, he was very funny and really good. Everything is in 15 minutes ( Hersey 15 dakikada) that was our slogan for the night because every time we asked it was 15 minutes for the table 🙂 it was kinda funny. I thank the owner Seyhan bey and his staff for the delicious food and singing happy birthday to my son. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Turkish/ Mediterranean food! Great job

What a great new addition to Haddon Ave! Service and food were great. I personally am in love with the shepherds salad, and the backlava was excellent. Great variety on the menu, for whatever you’re into. Lots of veggie options too! Can’t wait to enjoy the summer with a bottle of wine on the beautiful historic porch. BYOB! The building is a Collingswood gem and it’s great to see it reopened with such a wonderful new occupant.

Being Turkish and knowing how authentic Turkish food tastes, it’s hard to find a good place to eat it here. Oba was great though. We ordered several things and it all tasted delicious. We sat outside and the hanging evil eyes gave it such a nice touch.

I’m not one for reviews, but I recognize the importance of honoring the good and the bad. OBA is an incredible addition to the Collingswood food scene. The customer service, food, atmosphere and overall product is 10/10. I really appreciate their willingness to ensure that you not only feel at home, but more importantly- treat you like family. I am so glad they reopened.
