On the recommendation of a friend, we ventured to oba Mediterranean grill. The dining room as we entered was warm, cozy, and inviting. We sat down at our table and we’re greeted by our servers, who were friendly, and super efficient. They answered a bunch of our questions as well about the menu. This is a BYOB so they gladly opened up our adult beverages. For appetizers we got the sampler of cold appetizers, every one of them delicious. We also got the grilled octopus, my only complaint was there wasn’t more of it! It was so delicious, probably the best grilled octopus I’ve had. Perfectly grilled, and tender… Just delicious. We also ordered on the recommendation of my friend, the manti, which is actually an entree, for an appetizer. It is these small meat dumplings with a creamy sauce on top. Delicious as well, the tender light dumpling wrappers held the yummy meat inside. I used the complimentary balloon bread, and pitas to dip into the sauce as well as the cold appetizer. For a meals we got the mixed grills and falafel. Again everything delicious. The mixed grill gives you a taste of the chicken, gyro, beef, lamb everything. Everything was hot flavorful and delicious. The buttered rice that comes with it was super good as well. Save room for dessert because they do have some good ones. I had the rice pudding which was super delicious. Definitely a must try. The place was getting so crowded people were willing to sit in the outside seating area. It was enclosed for the winter, but definitely a little cooler out there.

The Oba restaurant seems to have been transformed from a private residence. My brother and I came here to taste Turkish food during Christmas. He said it was recommended by his Turkish friend. The food was excellent: well-seasoned, tender and fresh. The pita bread and olive oil were complimentary and served warm. First-class service, every waiter was very gentle in their attitude.

Well I am a foodie and I love Mediterranean food… unfortunately I have to say I was very disappointed with Oba. I ordered what I always order in Mediterranean restaurants: hummus and grilled octopus ( that is not cheap!).. the hummus was good but he “pita” that comes with it is not pita and is more like and unsalted focaccia. It could be because they are Turkish and not Greek so the bread is different bit do not expect a pita bread. The portion of the bread was generous I have to say. The grilled octopus I did not eat because it looked and tasted dry, not fresh and also tasted like gas. Can not rate the service and the place because I ordered with DoorDash. I will add pics and in the octopus pic don’t mind the capers that was my adding ( did not come with it). So overall ..nope … I will not order again… sorry Oba…

Best lahmacun I’ve had in the U.S.! I’m Turkish (and very picky about food), and my husband is a chef — we were both impressed. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a cozy green outdoor space decorated with evil eye charms and a Mediterranean blue-and-white vibe inside. Staff were so kind and accommodating, and the rice pudding was also amazing. They even brought us complimentary fresh-brewed Turkish tea. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

The quality here is excellent, and the owner is usually present. He’s a kind and attentive person who genuinely cares about his customers. We ordered the family package, which is more than enough for 3 to 4 people. The bread is always fresh, and overall, I absolutely love this place! I hope they maintain this level of quality forever.

Oba delivers an authentic and unforgettable Turkish dining experience. From the moment we walked in, We were welcomed by warm hospitality and a cozy, elegant ambiance that immediately set the tone for a great evening.
The menu is rich with traditional Turkish dishes, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The meze platter was a perfect start, eggplant, and salad that tasted homemade. For the main course, the Adana kebab was juicy, perfectly spiced, and served with fluffy rice and grilled vegetables. The lamb shish kebab was cooked to perfection.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail and freshness of ingredients. Even the homemade bread came out warm and crisp from the oven. We ended with baklava and a cup of strong, aromatic Turkish tea — the perfect sweet finish.
The service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server explained dishes patiently and made sure everything came out just right.
If you’re looking for real Turkish flavors in a comfortable setting, Oba is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back with all family members.

I went for Iftar here. Mostly everything was delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the a babaganoush, however we ordered chicken shish, grilled branzino, ribeye and spinach pide and those were all delicious.
The service was odd. People who were seated after me were being served first, and we had to hunt down servers to get things we needed although other tables were being asked and checked on frequently. Overall ok, but not a fan of the service.

Pros: I was here recently for a birthday dinner. The food was very good. Portions were just right. I got the Beef Shish and it was cooked just as I asked. They were very attentive and refilled the water often. The bread and olive dip was good. The over all decor is interesting with the hanging ornaments above you outside. We had a large party they were able to accommodate. They were able to keep the cake we brought in the back as well for when we were ready. You can tell they take their business seriously. The bathroom is kept pretty clean.
Cons: location makes it difficult for parking, much like many places in that area. They have a kids option, but don’t show it on their menu. Would be helpful if they did. The outside decor is nice but the table we were at had the door in the way , making it awkward to get by . Plus I had a vent under my chair , that didn’t seem safe. They gave good service but could be a little more positive or smile more. They just look kind of run down. You know add to the experience by being little more social. They have a kids dish , but range form $15 chicken tenders to $25 chicken Shish. Not very family friendly pricing.
Over all I would recommend going here .
I’m Beef and that’s where I was.
