The flights were fun! The food was tasty. More of a complicated menu than other mexican restaurants. The driving situation is what deducts a star… its SO bad. Stress inducing. This place was great for a special occasion. It was nice to see a bunch of younger people (20s-30s). Felt like a fun place! The only con is the tequila shot we got… NOT CHILLED. Yikes lol.

An absolutely amazing restaurant with delicious food no matter the day, festive atmosphere with respectful and welcoming staff and mesmerizing wall artwork! Have been here plenty of times throughout the year and every time I want to try something new I am never disappointed!!! Also lovee their virgin Piña colada mocktail!

Wonderful food & drinks. The service is top-notch! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with smiling young ladies who are happy to assist you. They got me extras on the chips & salsa when asked and earned their tip. There is Wifi onsite but you have to ask for the password. The Oaxaca Burrito is phenominal!!. Clean and professional! Tops on my list.

Steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms had a wonderful butter sauce. The bacon wrapped shrimp added layers of flavor an the smokey taste was a very pleasant surprise. I am all about a good cheese dip an chips and let me jus say this place has one of the best. If you have the idea that ALL Mexican restaurants are the same give this place a chance to change your mind. You will be happy finding out you was wrong lol

Went for the first time with several friends last night and we were so well taken care of.
Karina who seated us was lovely, she communicated options and times clearly, and accommodated us perfectly.
Kourtney, our server was top notch! The place was packed with people waiting outside and she still managed to check on us frequently. Her kindness and care were exceptional.
Since we were a mid sized group other servers and staff pitched in to get our food and drink to us to make our evening seamless. I was impressed with the teamwork I saw, food was delicious, Margarita was delicious… No notes.
Thank you all for creating a memorable, fun evening for my group. You rock!

I’m not happy with my experience at this restaurant. The drinks are pre-made. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita, and it did not contain Grand Marnier despite being told it did. The drink tasted like straight juice.
If you’re coming here for quality cocktails, don’t. The bar is not a true bar. Bartenders do not make drinks or assist guests; they only pour pre-made mixes.
The food wasn’t bad, but we came for drinks and a good time, and that expectation was not met. I would not recommend this place for drinks.
Also Natalie was not a good server and I wanted to add you treat everyone with respect and kindness.

We sat on the patio, which was perfect. The food was excellent. I ordered the Pollo Santo Domingo, which had spinach and mushrooms. It was delicious and a huge serving. It was enough for two meals. Someone else in our group ordered the seafood Molcajete. It was enormous. We got three meals out of that! Good service, too. Definitely will go to Oaxaca the next time we are in Edwardsville.

First and only time I will ever come to this restaurant. Had a bad experience where I had to have food remade (it came smothered – not just topped – in sour cream). Well, then the waitress came and said the most they could offer is 50% off and I was shocked because I wasnt asking for any discount so I told her no need to discount I just cant eat it drowning in sour cream (a dollup in top would have been perfectly fine). The waitress then brings out a box with the already returned enchiladas that had sat in the kitchen for now 20+ minutes. Lo and behold, we eat and get our bills and they charged for TWO meals for the one that had been smothered in sour cream and remade. I was never explained that they were going to charge me for two meals. I talked to the manager and she said that it is the owner’s policy to charge for two meals when something needs to be remade and that is what solidified that I will never return to this place. Keep in mind I had also asked how spicy this dish was before ordering it and was told it was the mildest of all their sauces, yet I was sniffling by the end of my meal from how spicy it was. But again, gonna get charged twice for it! They did eventually take off the second meal after my friend also talked to the manager but this whole policy of the owner’s is predatory. I understand restaurants are hard but your prices are very high already that it well and above covers food costs including waste that happens. This should be a part of your budget, not asking your patrons to pay twice for a meal received once. The shining light of the day was how well the drinks were made!

The food and the menu are great! Lots of options and high-quality dishes. I lived in Mexico for 10 years, and it really reminds me of the food there. I only didn’t give 5 stars because I thought it lacked spice! Haha. There’s absolutely no spice, which is unacceptable, lol. But we really like it a lot.
