This was the first time going to Oasis and it didn’t disappoint. Interior was well designed, the booths comfortable and the music was good – aux, no live music when we went. The food was absolutely excellent and it probably was the best quality sushi I’ve had in northern VA.

You can probably get away with eating a lower cost and decent lunch or dinner between the kitchen and maki rolls but their signature rolls are built around o-toro and truffle. I’d say expect premium prices for a premium experience.

Live atmosphere with stylish décor, great energy, and music that keeps the vibe alive all night. The sushi was aowsom and beautifully prepared! Service—while not overly formal—was friendly and added to the overall experience. A perfect spot for a fun night out. Highly recommended!

Great neo-japanese restaurant in Clarendon. Sushi/sashimi is the main appeal and is fresh and tasty. The waiter detailed our deluxe sashimi with the Japanese names for the fish followed by the english names. We had house hot sake but the cocktail menu looked really interesting. We had miso soup for appetizer but looking forward to trying others next time. Decor is really interesting. Large bar area in front. $60+ pp without cocktails but worth it.

Cool spot that opened in Clarendon! We didn’t have a reservation but went early to put our name down, which got us a ressy at 9pm which we didn’t mind. That being said, they never mentioned the table would be outside in the back. We asked them to move us inside when we realized this. One, it was chilly and two, it’s a listening bar we wanted to be inside to listen to the music. They were able to accommodate us and we sat in the bar area which was way better!

We got a bunch of sushi and all of them were delicious! Really good quality sushi and the flavors were amazing! Definitely want to go back and try some other rolls.

Something I also noted, it’s a listening bar but no one was playing vinyl. Just music from the aux. maybe just an off night?

Will definitely come again.

First time going today, and im totally coming back! Food was great, service better, but the main reason I loved it and know im coming back with more friends is the DJ! DJ Blairy was straight . All the hits from 90s and 2000s, and more. a millenial’s dream. Had everyone vibing while having dinner. Lol. One guy was like I don’t want to leave when its just getting good.
Sushi was fresh and delicious and everyone was super attentive. The restaurant is really nicely decorated. Sexy vibe. Recommend you try them out.

We decided to try a new sushi place in our area, Clarendon Arlington, and hands down, The Oasis has the best sushi I’ve ever had. The food was excellent—from the appetizers and sashimi deluxe to the sushi rolls and desserts. The place was very cozy, with jazzy music and a thoughtfully designed interior. We paid $250, including the tip, for two

To start off I will talk about the atmosphere which was incredible, the music and vibes and the decorations was absolutely great which I enjoyed the most. When it comes to the food we tried the sushi roll I think I took the dragon roll and it was good but when it comes to the prices I can say it’s a little expensive to this quality. So if you want to enjoy the vibe in new place you should go .

Let me start by saying: this place has the best sushi and the best cocktail I have EVER had (in my short life). I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the sushi; some pieces of fish literally melted in my mouth and they don’t skimp on the fish-to-rice ratio on the nigiri. And the Silly Crush was so delicious — fruity and a little tart, with only a whisper of that sharp alcohol taste. I might’ve gotten another if I hadn’t been driving, and if I hadn’t been spending on other items here.

That being said, in my view, getting anything OTHER than the sushi and drinks is a waste of money. The appetizers and the dessert we ordered (pictured + an absent order of takoyaki) were alright, but not at all worth rhe money. The enoki tempura, when shared between two people, had the same substantiality as a large potato chip; the takoyaki was undersauced and, to me, overcooked (more pancake-y than I prefer). The basque cheesecake was nothing to write home about, and you could probably make something better there too.

[I will say, my companion really enjoyed her squid ink pasta, so perhaps other entrees are safe purchases as well?]

Unexpected!

Japanese themed, fancy, loungy, premium, in the middle of Clarendon.

Great venue, the back of the restaurant has a speakeasy feel to it, the front of an upscale Japanese bar.
Live music and then an excellent dj after 930. Good acoustic : even with live music you can talk better than other restaurants that are just crowded.

Very good sushi as attested by the delicious basic salmon and tuna rolls.
The premium rolls, Sakura and Atlantic are also tasty.

Recommend the salom Truffle appetizer.

Great espresso martini.

We loved this place! A bit pricey but sushi was delicious! The server helped us pick the best options. Oh, the drinks! Lychee drink, I don’t remember the name but it was amazing! Great presentation and taste. We went on Thursday, so there was plenty of seating. We first tried it on the weekend and it was impossible to get a table. They also have music on Friday and Saturday. Cool place, great atmosphere and great sushi, what else do we need? Check it out!
