Absolutely unreal food and experience. This Puerto Rican spot operates out of a shipping container, but don’t let that fool you. This is some of the best rice and beans, rotisserie chicken, homemade empanadas, and plantains I’ve ever had.
We ordered enough food to feed a crowd and for around $250, the value was incredible. Every single dish was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with pride and care. The rotisserie chicken was juicy with crispy skin, the empanadas tasted truly homemade, and the rice and beans were next-level comfort food.
The real highlight though was Israel, the owner, aka the chicken guy. From the moment we showed up, he treated us like family. So friendly, welcoming, and passionate about his food. You can feel the love in everything he serves.
This place is proof that great food doesn’t need a fancy dining room. If you’re even remotely considering it, go. Support this spot. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

I used to really like this place I would come the whole time, but the experience that I had was not good as the food was not good. I ordered the Mofongo Mar Y Tierra like I always do usually the shrimp and the steak is in garlic sauce always has been when I ordered it Al ajigo This time the shrimp was cold, like if they took it from their cold Seafood salad and they put some sauce on top of the steak. I went back and told him the shrimp was cold. They made a new one, but by the time I got my shrimp Made the steak and Mofongo was cold . I’ve never gotten this with peppers and my husband ordered the chicharrón de pollo With french fries they gave us two different type of french fries crinkled and straight french fries and the chicken had no seasoning. It looks like they only use salt and pepper, which I used to not Be like that so it makes me wonder if they change chef? I think for the amount I paid $73 was way too much for my plate my husband‘s plate my daughter plate which was the same as my husband and two Alcapuria 2 maltas and a coke Seems a bit much I wouldn’t mind if the food was consistent but when it’s not consistent, that price hurts needless to say, I threw away my plate just as shown in the picture

Whole chicken with rice is Puerto Rican comfort food – and Oasis does it right. Its always perfect. Chicken is juicy on the inside but deliciously crispy on the outside like it should be.
The Ferrero Roche shake is BOMB.
Counter service is always great, but calling in for pick-up is probably faster.

Service was personal as they made time, not to just take my order and cook and serve to perfection, but to “chat” briefly with me (1st time here). Love the shaded patio environment and music. The food OMG magnificent. Pana tostones golden and crunchy and well seasoned (just how I like) and the seafood(conch, octopus, shrimp) was perfectly cooked. It’s a fam environment even when “dining” with strangers you connect with others enjoying a meal.
Excelente experiencia! El servicio, ambiente y la comida❣️

The Oasis rotisserie chicken was very tasty and juicy. The tostones de pana were great as well as the alcapurrias and the arroz con gandules. I finally found my go to rotisserie chicken joint. They have outside and inside seating, very beautiful and clean. Very nice people ensuring you have great food. The relleno de papa was good, not like PR but best in Tampa.
