I got the boba tea and was surprised that it was like 5.48. Because of the price I expected a good drink. The drink itself was okay, nothing to praise. The actual boba was hard to chew. The tea part was okay but the drink itself was room temperature. I did wait around 10 minutes for the tea to be brought to me. The store itself wasn’t busy, it only had two other people.

There are three menus. If you order takeout, you’re getting a standard Americanized Moogoo Gai Pan Chinese menu. But if you order in and grab the dine in or Hot Pot menus? Bam, mmm-mmhh! honey, you are gonna get authentic Chinese food that tastes straight like it came out of Southern China, as local as local gets. Gently spicy, wide variety, mimics 菜式 from all over. Before you pick to dine in, make sure you expect the traditionally Chinese service: The Dad is working the back and the Mom is handling the register in the restaurant AND store all on her own. Your drink will not get refilled, you will have to go looking to get your bill, call it part of the experience and blame COVID, we’re lucky any of our local places survived! I eat here once a week and always over-order; the food is inexpensive and I love taking a surplus home for the weekend to spoil myself with and be lazy.

First off. Terrible terrible service. We felt unwanted. Waited almost 10 minutes to get our drink orders and ended up leaving only after blankly staring at our server who kept sweeping the entrance (which was clean btw) as well as cleaning off one dirty table. Um hello we’ve been sitting here!!! And to mention, they were pretty empty in there besides one other table. I went in for some good food but I could not with the service. Please do better.

I got takeout from this place and had been craving chicken fried rice for weeks, and finally bit the bullet & just ordered from the place closest to me not having any regard for the reviews. I wish I paid more attention to that, though. The rice is SO bland and I’m just really disappointed. The inside of the store felt very not well taken care of too. Overall, will not order here again but could be worth a try if it’s close to you.

So the setting is a little less appealing, however, the food is wonderful. There was some commotion (arguing) in the kitchen that provided some entertainment for a few minutes, but again, the food was well prepared and served hot.
