Ana Lucia –
If i could give it 6 stars out of 5 i would.
I went for (late) lunch, almost 4pm, and got the fattoush and the combo mixed platter. Both were absolutely delicious.
The hummus was super fresh, and everything tasted like it is truly supposed to taste.
The food was ready fast, and the portions were giant (had to take a bunch of leftovers home, and I am so looking forward to eat them later)
I would totally come back to this place, without a doubt
PD: the photos are kinda trash but i was starving so i only remembered to take pictures once i was halfway through the meal lol

This place is located in the back of a jewelry store and it was amazing. I happened to notice the sign in front of the jewelers and we are so glad we decided to go in. The food was delicious, super fresh ingredients and you can taste the food was made with genuine passion. Our favorite dish had to be the hummus and falafel you could taste how fresh the ingredients were and overall to die for!

Oasis Cafe is one of those places that never disappoints. The food is simple, fresh, and full of flavor, and you can really tell it’s made with care. I tried the falafel and hummus combo, and everything tasted spot-on — crispy falafel, creamy hummus, and perfectly seasoned sides. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for downtown Chicago.
The service is quick and friendly, which makes it a great lunch spot even when you’re short on time. The location itself is kind of unique, tucked inside a building, but once you find it, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is relaxed and no-frills — you go there for good food, not fancy decor.
If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food, especially vegetarian-friendly options, Oasis Cafe is a must-try. I’d happily come back again and again.

I ordered the chicken shwarma sandwich and the falafel appetizer.
For starters the food court vibe is charming and the staff was fast and friendly.
The food was really good. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken has great authentic flavor and was juicy. The falafel was smooth and moist on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside.
I’ll be back to try more!

I had been going here for lunch regularly for a lot of years, but now only occasionally since I retired. The food today is still very good and reasonably priced. I always get the vegetarian plate with falafel, baba ganous, grape leaves and hummus. I get this plate because each item is great. If you are downtown, go to Oasis. It will become a regular place to go for you too.

Outstanding food quality and very quick service seem to be the forte of this restaurant. I had the falafel plate. It was very good however there was no tahini sauce. That certainly would have made it even better.
Very unique restaurant tucked in the back of a jewelry store and the diamond district. Definitely a No frills kind of place but the food is really good.
