Jubim was very pleasant and helpful.
Yes we will return.
Waste of money. The meat is always tough and overcooked. You can taste whatever it is that they use to clean or something, because the sear just tastes bad.
At least they know how to make rice??????????? Because it feels like the only edible thing available. If you’re doing a Brazilian Steakhouse treat yourself to quality food for the money and avoid this place. These reviews glazing the place can’t be real with how the food tastes.
When you walk in, it’s a serve yourself setup, and at the very end there’s a window where you can request cuts of meat. The quality was easily 10x better than anywhere else I’ve had, especially coming from someone who frequents Fogo de Chão.
I got literally half a pound of meat with sides for $18. Holy crap. I was completely full, but still had to go back for seconds lol.
This is easily the most slept on restaurant in the area. Please, please, please support small businesses and try this place out. I promise you won’t regret it.
It’s a pay-by-the-pound dine-in restaurant, common for Brazil. I love the style because I in general can’t eat enough to make Brazilian AYCEs worth it.
I wish the owners can make the ordering process clearer for people not familiar with Brazilian restaurants, eg with instruction table tents.
You go in and can grab a plate immediately to take food. Then find your own seat. No need to wait to be seated.
Then self serve at the the hot bar (feijoada, fried bananas, moqueca, dishes may change but these are the common staples), and the salad bar (beets, mayo salad, etc). If you don’t want churrasco BBQ meat, then you can go straight to the counter now to weigh your dish and pay (or keep a tab open). You pay the by the pound BUFFET unit price * weight of food in your plate.
If you want BBQ, continue to the churrasco counter where now you have to speak to the kind folks by the grill to inquire about cuts of meats (picanha, picanha with onion, etc) available. You ask for a few pieces to put on your plate. Then go to the counter to weigh. Now the total weight is priced with the “Buffet PLUS BBQ” price.
Also ask for juices made with frozen pure fruit pulp (guava guava, papaya, maracuja passion fruit, cupuaçu tropical cocoa) at the counter.
Seat yourself, get utensils by the door, then when finished, pay by the counter. Nobody is coming to ask you to pay. Stay however long you want. It’s that relaxed!
Enjoy!
Ive had $150 steak before and i can confidently say this tastes even better AND its 1/10th the price. The workers being awesome is just the cherry on top.
If youre remotely on the fence give this place a shot then spend the rest of your life mad at yourself for not discovering it sooner
