Went here for restaurant week, no wait for a table for 2. got the 3 course meal the focaccia was pretty good and then the peach jalapeño ribs were delicious as the ribs always are at oakys. I personally don’t like sweet potato fries so I left them untouched and the mango sorbet wasn’t the best but was the only choice on the restruant week menu if you’re under 21. Server did ask if I wanted a different desert but I declined so overall oakys is a good place to go with your family with a nice local feel.

Located in Interlochen, MI, this Tavern is very busy! The overflow tables are located on the deck that surrounds the building. It is wrapped in a heavy tent and kept warm with propane towers. It felt warm, and provideds a nice ambient light. The food was great, portions were great and service was friendly. The blackened tacos were delicious, just the right combination of seasoning and the Sirloin Steak was delicious! They also serve special holiday drinks, that added a perfect touch to the evening.

such an amazing spot, great seating options. Indoor and bar seating as well as a beautiful outdoor area and a heated porch. Steak is thick cut and cooked to perfection, better than most steak house restaurants. Wish they had more cut than just New York strip but it was so good it didn’t disappoint. Tots were perfectly brown. Spicy margarita was spectacular as well. Highly recommend this place!

Very highly recommended. The food was very delicious. Very obvious American fair, nothing new, but done extremely well. The olive burger was top notch, however I wouldn’t recommend the onion rings… a little too much breading. The service was fast friendly and attentive, exactly what you want.

I had been here a few times a couple years ago before the renovation and the service and food was not good. We decided to give it a shot tonight and we were pleasantly surprised! The dining room was beautiful as well as the outdoor seating. Server was very sweet. We got wings and the spinach dip which were both delicious. We will definitely have to come back

Our experience at Oaky’s Tavern was phenomenal! We are locals that appreciate the great customer service, amazing food they offer and and a beautiful setting. Riley, our server was at the top of her game tonight. She served us with exceptional service, she’s sweet, courteous, attentive and will always give you her recommendations on the best menu options. There’s not a better place around! Worth the wait!

My wife, mom, and I went to Oaky’s—easily one of our favorite spots in Grand Traverse County. The food, service, and atmosphere are always outstanding. This place truly never disappoints.
On Sunday the bloody Mary’s are $3 off and the upgrade with the bacon makes it a wonderful refreshment for any time of the day.
We weren’t planning on getting appetizers, but after seeing the table next to us order the Zesty Pickle Fries, we couldn’t resist. They were absolutely amazing—crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor.
For our mains, we ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches (no cheese), served with a fresh side salad and Oaky’s incredible tater tots—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also tried the Bayou Mac, which was rich, creamy, and full of bold, savory flavor.
Oaky’s continues to impress every time we visit. Highly recommend!

Awesome little spot we stumbled upon! We sat on the side patio and ordered the pork tacos, nachos, wings and grilled chicken caesar. No complaints whatsoever – the food is delicious, service was great and the atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing.
