Oakwood Public Market is quickly turning into the go-to hangout in Dripping Springs. The vibe is perfect. it feels upscale but still super relaxed and come-as-you-are. I’ve already run into friends and neighbors there more times than I can count.

I usually stop in for coffee, an after work beer or pizza, and that pizza is next level. easily the best in town. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. The beer and other market items are priced about the same as H-E-B, which I didn’t expect at all.

The staff are great. friendly, upbeat, and you can tell they actually like being there. The place has a nice family-friendly energy too. The only downside is the outdoor bar faces west, so it can get hot in the late afternoon,s sun. once the sun starts to set, it’s hard to beat the view.

Highly recommend checking it out.

First review for initial opening: we have been waiting for Oakwood market to open for so long!! It’s the perfect addition to our neighborhood. I understand it’s not easy to be smooth sailing your first week but they kept up with the chaos and packed days and nights so well. So far we’ve tried it with kids, without for a night out and also for pizza multiple times. Love the pizza so far and the market is so convenient!

Cannot waitttt for the soda shop and the restaurant to open.

The views are beautiful and the coffee shop as well as coffee are so good. Love having Oakwood in our neighborhood ✨

This is a hard place to beat! Absolutely beautiful views, great food, great bar, better vibes. A lot of attention to detail, every business here is great – from the awesome shakes at the soda shop, tasty coffee, beautiful pizzas and crafted drinks, this is a 5 star

Everyone loves a neighborhood coffee place and a pizza shop. Don’t they? Especially if you got some nice views from here. Well I loved the views and the atmosphere but the prices are off the roof. It’s exorbitantly expensive.

What a fun place to spend an afternoon or an evening! Kids running around, music playing, great views—and excellent food. I was blown away at how great the atmosphere is. Drip really needed a place like this!

I visited Oakwood for a lunch date since I live and work in the community. Kate at the bar was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. She has great energy and a positive attitude. Kate recommended a few new choice menu items, but I had the delicious fish tacos that were not only packed full-of-flava, but the tortilla was full of fish! The burgers were juicy and the drinks were perfectly poured. Since it is wheelchair accessible, I will be bringing my friends from the Senior Village on our next bus trip to experience dining and shopping on a whole new level. Literally!, don’t even get me started on the gorgeous view of the Hill Country from every picture window. I cannot wait to go back!

Tried two different times. Both times the service was absolutely terrible especially at the bar. Both times the bar was dirty. Both times there were 2-3 people chatting behind the bar but no service. No cleaning up. No interest in me. Staff seems “put out” attending to people. It’s the strangest thing. I wanted to like this place. It seems like food and aesthetic I would enjoy but I do not think I’ll be back. Ate there once and salad was good. The second time we walked out, because there was no service. Since it was the same staff, management seemed to be around, and others mentioned poor service in the reviews, I can only imagine it’s how they want to run the business.

An absolutely gorgeous building with views forever and nothing like it in Dripping.

This is an amazing spot for kids and family. We watched football on the huge porch and the atmosphere is just perfect.

Coffee shop is perfect for relaxing and doing a little work. Pizzas are 5 star!

Oakwood Public Market is one of those places that instantly feels like a community hub — relaxed, welcoming, and full of great food options all in one spot.

We loved the variety here. Whether you’re craving coffee, tacos, pizza, BBQ, or something sweet, there’s something for everyone, which makes it perfect for groups where everyone wants something different. The vendors we tried were all solid, and it’s clear there’s real care put into quality and presentation.

The outdoor space is a huge bonus — plenty of room to spread out, enjoy the Hill Country air, and let kids run around while adults relax. It’s casual without feeling chaotic, and the vibe strikes a nice balance between laid-back and lively. Live music and events just add to the charm.

Service across the board was friendly and easygoing, and the whole place feels thoughtfully designed — clean, modern, but still very Dripping Springs.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Oakwood is absolutely worth a stop. It’s become one of our go-to spots for an easy meal, good atmosphere, and a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening.
