I went here for lunch with some coworkers. I hadn’t heard of it before, but it seems like a popular little local spot. The menu was varied, and had what I’d expect from a sports bar. The staff was friendly, and they took our orders pretty quickly. I tried the chicken tender meal. It came with a little coleslaw and waffle fries. It all tasted good, but the chicken was a bit tough. Everyone was satisfied with their meals, though, and it’s clearly a decent spot for lunch or dinner. It’s certainly a better option than all the fast food nearby. Give them a try if you’re nearby.

We just had dinner here tonight on Thursday. The waitress was great, the atmosphere was nice but very loud. I thought we were at a concert . The food was decent but too much salt on the waffle fries. Please tell the cooks to let the customers add their own Salt if they need too.

Food was surprisingly good. I got the sirloin medallions which was really good. My only complaint was that the crab meat it came with was really cold. They should serve it warm. The kids loved their pizza and chicken tenders. Service was great. We will definetly be back.

Visiting the area for a work trip and decided to have dinner at Oakwood with my colleague. I really appreciated the variety of their menu items. They also had a menu with special / seasonal dishes. We tried the crab dip that was on their specials menu and it was amaziiiing! My drinks were great as well. For my entree, I got the crab pasta; the shrimp on top were the perfect size, perfectly cooked & there was soooo muchhh crab!! Being from Louisiana I can appreciate great seafood offerings + drinks and felt so at home with our lovely server and the delicious food we had ordered. 🙂

Love this place! Food is great. Staff super friendly and welcoming. And it’s so cozy! Been coming here for about ten years now! Never been disappointed. Food is always tasty and fresh. Definitely recommend. It’s my comfort restaurant.

We had a good time here everything was great from the service to the food. Got some bad french fries and they brought some good ones out right away. Server was attentive, they weren’t really that busy. The pepperoni roll was delicious had a lot more cheese in it than we thought it was going to. Probably because we were charged for extra cheese, no idea where that came from, didn’t ask for it that’s for sure. Sink in the bathroom could use some more pressure that’s also for sure! Good time though not to pricey and a good meal before heading to Greenfield Village.

Blink and you miss it neighborhood type joint. Marissa our server was fast, accurate and super friendly. Sadly the excellent welcome and service were the only highlights. The food was distinctly average and the Brunch Burger came with the egg in a separate plate because “the kit hen can be slow.” Yeah…but the egg came out at the same time as the burger. Apparently the clowns in the kitchen simply couldn’t be bothered to lift up the bun and place an egg under it. So to summarize….Marissa….good….kitchen…lazy.

The atmosphere is a typical pub style grill, with high tops, low tables, and plenty of bar seating. They have on all of the games during sports season and even have a billiards table if you want to shoot some pool.

The service was ok, I felt that it was found wanting, but the chefs and the bartender made up for what was lacking in the servers.
•Food•
The food was fire simply put. They did what they were supposed to do, both in the kitchen and at the bar. The portions were good for the price and the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The garlic parm wings were ok but the “Stupid Hot” sauce was perfect! The turkey burger was a masterpiece! The drinks were amazing and worth the money!
All in all I give this pub a 3.7/5 Flame rating.
Will give it another try someday, would say to try it out if you are in the area

First time going here. As soon as we walked in and saw all the Christmas decorations we fell in love. What an oldie but goody. Great vibe. All ages, large space. Busy but we didn’t feel cramped. Our service was a little slow but she was busy busy. We understood. We will go back next time we are in the area. Loved it!
