Look at that fresh squeezed orange juice! Now imagine drinking this 5 star experience. Still not satisfied? The buttermilk pancakes are stupid good! Everybody at my table was stoked about what they got. Do yourself a favor and live a little. Eat Here!

Beautiful little spot with easy street parking right in front. We sat by the fireplace so it was nice and toasty, and with it being early it was a little extra quiet in the place, but otherwise cozy atmosphere with lots of room for wheelchair access if needed, though I didn’t immediately see an accessible entrance. I had the cheddar grit cakes and my partner had the smoked salmon Benedict and both were phenomenal at a decent price for great quality food in a downtown restaurant.

Really fresh and delicious food! Do not skip out on the buttermilk pancakes, they are incredibly yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly in my spinach and feta omelette, and the breakfast potatoes were good too with a hint of rosemary. Toast is served with butter and homemade berry jam. Everything came out hot and perfect. Also they have a full coffee bar menu with espresso drinks too. I got the nitro cold brew and it really hit the spot. Service can be slow if they are really busy, but staff is super sweet. Definitely would return!

We’ve been coming for years and have gotten to know the owners and staff.
The menu is extensive and all the dishes are delicious.
We always bring family and friends who are visiting who are not disappointed.

This is a cute little place. We stopped in while traveling through the area. The service was fast and friendly. I had the tomato basil soup, which was very good. My husband had the breakfast tacos which are filled with a very generous portion of eggs, chorizo, queso, and avocado.

The food was not bad at all and overall enjoyable. The ambience was decent, but it could use a little upkeep and attention to detail to make the space feel more inviting. The coffee, however, tasted burnt, which was disappointing and took away from the experience a bit.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad visit, but with some improvements to the atmosphere and better quality coffee, it could be much better.

So glad I tried the delicious sweet potato waffle- definitely did not disappoint! Also, the bacon was the best I’ve had in my life. Not sure if we have this back home, but I would drive up here again just for this breakfast.

Food was excellent, but expected more for the price. Appreciated that they had a gluten free waffle. The wait was 25 minutes on a late Sunday morning. Once we got sat, no one came to the table for what felt like another 10 minutes, not even someone with water.

Great small-town restaurant with a welcoming feel. I ordered a BLT, and it was pretty decent overall. I also tried the “Canadian” bacon and was a little disappointed—not because of the restaurant, but because what Americans call Canadian bacon is basically just ham! That aside, the meal itself was enjoyable.
The service was very friendly, and I especially appreciated that they allowed me to plug in my laptop while I was there. Small gestures like that go a long way.
I’d definitely come back if I were in the area again.
My star ranking system:
1: Bad / Don’t go there
2: Could be better
3: Average
4: Above average but not the best
5: A true top notch place

We ate here on our adventure vacation exploring Lake Michigan beaches. And we are so glad we did! For drinks I had the boozy mocha and my husband had the spike iced chai latte. Both were good but the chai was the clear winner of the two. My husband had the el Mexicano scrambler dish and had the huevos rancheros. Delish dishes and the guacamole was on point bringing all the flavors together on both plates.
